lol pretty sneaky of Syracuse waiting until they are given the 1 seed to announce this.

Syracuse still makes it to the elite 8, but this is great news for Ohio State.

SU would've had a #1 seed anyway. They take it into account a little bit but if a Big East team goes 30-2 or whatever, they're getting a #1 seed regardless of what player they deem ineligible or what player is injured.

You're probably right and I never suggested they woulda fell to a 2, but it still seems like a just in case delayed announcement.

Ohio State should be very happy. Easiest path to the final four now I think.
