Boston Red Sox World Series Winners 2008!
The Boston Red Sox will win the Word Series again this year! They have the best Playoff pitcher in recent history, Josh Becket. They have a shut down closer who excels when the pressure is on, Jonathon Pabelbon. They have in my opinion the MVP, Dustin Padroia! They have great speed at the top of their lineup with Ellsbury! They have the best clutch (playoff) hitter in David Ortiz, and the best first baseman in the league, on both offense and defense, Kevin Yoooooukalis! Did I also mention the best statistical 3rd baseman in the history of the MLB, Mike Lowell!

People might say, well...the Red Sox didn't even win the division this year. Here is what I will tell them...If at the beginning of the season I told you that Kurt Schilling would be on the shelf for the whole entire year, and David Ortiz would be out over 1 month of the season, due to a sour knee. If I also told you that Mike Lowell, JD Drew, Josh Becket, Kevin Youkalis and Mike Lowell combined would miss over 120 games, that the Red Sox would win the Wild Card! Would you still believe me? Of course you wouldn't! This is why the Bo-Sox have the best Organization in the game.

Just look at all the young guys that contribute to this team. Dustin Pedroia 25, Jed Lowrie 24, Jacoby Ellsbury 25, David Aardsma 26, Manny Delcarmen 26, Jon Lester 24, and Dustin Masterson 23. It's simply amazing how many guys they call up from Pawtucket, that perform the way these guys have!

The Boston Red Sox get a bad reputation when it comes to spending money on free Agents. People say they pay wayyyy to much for players. This statement is not true at all! They may have made a few mistakes on free agents in the past, but by and large they have done a great job! People fail to forget some of the guys that the refused to pay big bucks for! Nomar Garciapara, Pedro Martinez, Derek Lowe, Bronson Aroyo. None of these guys have exactly been steller!

The Red Sox are going into the playoffs with a healthy team. They have more experience than any other team in the league, they have a good mix of young guys and veterans. They have a great coach (under rated) in Terry Francona, and Boston’s most important asset, Fenway Park!

So you can say what you want about the Bo-Sox! They are the best organization in the MLB! That’s why they will win the World Series on 2008!

The Cubs are a good ball Club! They are clearly the best team in the NL. They had such an easy division, if they played in the AL east, they would only have 88-92 wins!

Not sure the Red Sox are healthy.. Lowell has problems, J.D. Drew had an epidural (who knows if he'll play), Ortiz's wrist isn't 100%, Lugo may not play. Who knows if Beckett is okay.

However I still think the Red Sox are the best team.

Papelbon's been extremely hittable the last six weeks, ever since he abandoned throwing his split and started relying solely on his fastball.

Other than walk basically every hitter he's faced and failing to record a single meaningful out the entire season, explain to me what contributions Aardsma's made. Guy won't even be on the postseason roster.

Good luck relying on him in a big spot.

Completely hit a wall. 3/30 over the last eight games.

Mike Lowell's anything but healthy. Ditto for Nancy Drew.

What they don't have -- home field advantage.
