Cubs have at least won a few playoff series since 1988.... Dodgers have 1 playoff game win.

No way Dodgers win this series. They don't have the pitching or the clutch hitting. I mean I'd love to see them win as a fan but I aint putting any money on em.

Only way they have a chance is if they let Steve Bartman back in Wrigley.

Dodgers 16th in mlb hits table, but 24th in runs scored. That's pretty damning(cubs are 5th in hits, 2nd in runs)

Recent batting form the reverse though - dodgers are 5th in last month runs table, cubs are 23rd. Not always easy for a teams' bats to wake up after a stretch like that.

I'll double check my numbers but I believe the Dodgers had the best record in the NL in September. Joe Torre has them peaking at the right time. hanks to Man Ram I think the Dodgers will win twice in the series which will double their playoff total over the last 20 years.

The Dodgers and Cubs have never met in the postseason. After 118 years and 2,023 games, the Dodgers lead the all-time series 1,012-1,011. The two franchises first played each other on May 29, 1890 in Brooklyn .

Yes they did, but the Cubs where in cruz control they had a spot in the playoffs locked up.

Dodgers on the other hand looked doomed last month but had to fight there way back to a WC birth...
