Wish I could post up at TwinSpires. My state Gov't will not allow me.

It says on their site to sign up and you get a $100 bonus. Might have to bet a certain amount to get it all- not sure.

Love twinspires. I hosted a derby party and hooked a computer up to the TV and we had the live feed from Churchill on all day. It's not hi-def by any means, but it's nice having a live tote board right in your living room. We had NBC's coverage playing on a larger TV right next to it. I let the guys bet through my account and we all just settled up at the end. After getting signed up with them, I never set foot in an off track betting again. Its just like betting at the track..your account is credited minutes after each race and they take nothing out of your winnings. There's no surcharge to deposit or withdrawal. This is how I bet all year. Just about any track is available. With the $100 bonus, you have to wager $500 within 30 days I believe. This was at least the terms well over a year ago when I joined. As soon as you bet the $500, your account is credited the next day.

Totally worth it IMO. You don't even have to have funds in your account to watch the live races. It's like having your personal OTB right in your own home.

I had issues with the site on Derby day... Could not bring up the bets I made or make a wager 30 minutes before the Derby.

They have some glitch every year on Derby day.

Twinspires did lag on Derby Day. That said, I was able to wager on the Derby as they started loading. Video was not up to standard.

Hawkeye, if you're just starting out, try concentrating on one circuit or one track. Makes it easier to learn trainer and jockey tendencies, and the differences in the tracks themselves.

For video yes but with no rebate you have to be crazy to bet there.

Too bad some states do not allow legal horse wagering forcing some of us to go offshore.

So many laws with usa racing and state restrictions
                                                        Every site is different
NJ is one of states banned everywhere unless you use their local one

Any serious horse player wouldn't live in a Commie state where they can't place a wager. Especially a state bordering Kentucky.
