Good point...we SBR ballers have girls do our laundry that are better looking than anything TP scrapes up.

One negative, until recently he was a defensive liability. I would not consider him poor defensively now. I'd give him a little above average, he has certainly improved but the bar was not set too high.

If he is a hall of famer then that doesn't say much for the hall of fame. He is no Isiah Thomas, but he is at least as good as the scoring point guards in the league right now. He is top 5 today, but never the best at his position.

Absolutely.

Did you catch his matchups vs. Westbrook this year? 42 points, 9 assists? Ran circles around him. Would take him over Williams in a heartbeat too. Rose is in his young 20's, relies on his athleticism and now will have lost a lot of it with his injury- lets wait and see how he adapts. Rondo still can't shoot, but he does have time. Paul is the only one I put on the same level, but he doesn't have any championships let alone finals MVPs.

His NBA Championship MVP is big. He's a 5 time allstar too. I guess if he nails down two more allstar gigs there will be no question.

Yes he's a Hall of Famer, but probably won't make it on the first ballot, but not because of his stats. If he had that same resume and played in LA, Boston or NY people would be debating whether he was one of the Top 10 PG's of all-time. If he played in one of those markets, he would have been over-hyped, people would have wanted to erect statues of him after one title. Look at what the media did with Jeremy Lin, after a handful of good games people were clamoring for him to be an All-Star. Does anybody believe if Lin had done that on a San Antonio team instead of a New York team, that the media would have given two shyts about it and become as big a story as it did?

People always forget that its the basketball HOF and not the NBA hall of fame. I think he has a good shot, but what he does with France in the coming years can also play a big part in it. Criteria looked at is very broad. Hell, I even think there are a couple high school coaches in there. You can also be inducted twice as both a player and a coach. There are alot of ways to get into the basketball hall unlike other sports halls that are strictly based on professional play.
