I am not really big into fantasy sports. I did win my superbowl in football a few years ago however.

I believe the league had 12 teams

The league didn't pay anything, it was for fun.

The draft was auto so I didn't enjoy it.

      1) I have won 1 ESPN league. And I think 1 Yahoo league.

      2) The ESPN League had 12 teams, and I think the Yahoo one had 10 or 12.

      3) No prize. But I think I could of got a t-shirt from ESPN, but never sent in for it.

      4) Yes, I enjoy live drafts. Probably the funnest thing of fantasy sports are the live drafts.

i won my local league twice.

we had 14 team owners the first year i won it, and had 12 in another.

the entry fee is $500 a man.

the current prize money breakdown for the 12 man league we have now:

$3,500 for 1st place, $1,500 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place. ($500 goes to the end of the years superbowl party)

last year though we did donate $500 to the red cross for the hurricane victums.

nothing beats doing a live draft though. i usually walk into the draft room with only a pen and paper, (with no cheat sheets believe it or not) and rattle it all off the top of my head. i know most people can't probly do that, but i start to do all my football homework at the baseball all-star break, so i pertty much have everything memorized by then.

I like that entry fee and payout in your league BBD Great idea using some of that towards the donation and superbowl party

Been playing the game for 12 seasons now and have never won it all. Made the Super Bowl three times, only to come up short (once by a point due to Frank '%^@&*#*' Wycheck's fumble ). It's a 12-team league and I think first place takes home about $300-$400.

The draft and the end-of-season party is the main reason I play. Always good time at our drafts (had last year's at Gruene Hall and this year will be over in Lafayette). We have a sort of 'kangaroo court' system for fines during a season. The guy who leaves the most points on his bench gets fined $10, starting a player on a bye week will cost you $5, things like that. All that loot goes to our party and the end, usually at some sports bar in Houston. Tons of fun.

I've always been asked to participate but I never had...it just seems to be too cumbersome and time consuming.

We got a good league in our work with 10 teams.
My teams made the champinship games 2 years in
a row but only won it all 2 years ago. It is a $100
entry fee and $10 a roster move. Won a cool
$650 2 years ago and another $220 last years for
2nd place. We had our drafts at Hooters the last
three years and thats the best part of the game.
