How come there aren't any left-handed throwing catchers in baseball?

    Regarding the black catchers thing- there were quite a few back in the 60's and 70's, Elston Howard, John Roseboro, Earl Battey, Elrod Hendricks and Hal King come to mind. There have been very few for the past 40 years though. I wonder why.

        Its not complicated. 8% of all players are black Americans as opposed to 27% in 1975.

        Just a guess but I'd say most playing now are pitchers and outfielders.

              well I mean if you give part a) of the forumula.... less % of overall african americans playing you know i'm gonna ask for the completion and balanced formula showing b) there were more black catchers in 1975 then the 1/2 we have today in Russell Martin

              hell give me a list of ten completely african american catchers ever in baseball history

                  yeah I honestly have no idea on any catchers other than bench and munson from 1975.....

                  so yeah i'm not making a point as much as literally asking for you to name them, as I don't know of them

                          look at that list...if it wasnt for my older brothers baseball cards id never have heard of any of them except for like fukkin bench, fisk, carter and all the guys who became managers
