    Josephy is "Johnny Bax"
Obst and Vayo used to crush online
Marchese and Bleznick are top players
Saout made the final table of the main event like 5 years ago for like 3.3 million

He is "Andy McLEOD" on Pokerstars and I remember he used to absolutely crush it when Americans were allowed to play there. He probably still does but I don't keep tabs on online poker anymore.

Vayo is another that was an online beast, "holla@yoboy"

nice to see some beasts in the field still and not just lucky amateurs

Would be very amusing to see his table talk at the final table. Huge tool of course and I'd hate to play a pot with him but it's funny to watch.

You mean no one from SBR is left? Preposterous!

Also, am I the only one who thinks holding off until November is stupid?

It is actually the October 9 now. They didn't want to play during the Election in November

Yeah it's pretty lame. Give them a week to fly family in and stuff but no need for such a long wait.

His playing style seems very aggressive so he could be the type to have a complete train wreck day or just run over the table.

only a matter of time until someone dies in the months leading up to the final table.

I wonder if stack gets blinded off or maybe a family member can play for you.

I'm guessing dead person's stack gets blinded off.

                              Stay classy Jared Bleznick

Pretty typical of Poker Karma that this prick runs so hot only weeks after getting booted from the Rio for life. Luckily he's been busy shining Hellmuth's taint long enough that ol Phil got him back in.

WSOP Ban for Card-Ripper with History

                              Jared Blesnick over-stepped the mark

What does it take to get yourself a life-time ban from the World Series of Poker? Calling others ‘idiots’ multiple times a la Phil Hellmuth? Calling someone a cheat at the table or threatening violence as in the Friedmann-Lisandro episode? Well, neither of those worked, but apparently ripping up the cards and throwing them across the table will!

Jared Blesnick, a well-known online high-stakes pro with a privileged but murky background, found out that there’s only so much that WSOP tournament director Jack Effel will put up with, and when he over-stepped the mark, he was thrown out of the event, the series and the Rio casino.
Known on the virtual felt as ‘harrington25’, his online poker skills (primarily at PLO) are legendary. However, his live poker antics have upset a number of players over the years, and this week saw him lose the plot – and the pot – completely.
As reported on the WSOP.com website, Blesnick was down to the final two tables of Event #34, the $1500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit).
With more than 120,000 in the pot after the second draw, Bleznick had a single 1,000 chip left behind. Andrey Zaichenko drew one card from the cutoff in the final draw, and Jared Bleznick drew one from the button.
Zaichenko looks over at Bleznick', reported the official site, 'and he says "I only have one thousand left, give me a payout ticket!" Zaichenko bets 1,000 and Bleznick fires his last chip into the pot. "Floor, give me a penetrating payout ticket now," says Belznick.Zaichenko shows 10 6 5 4 2 for a ten low. Bleznick's first four cards are tabled in front of him 8 5 3 2. He stands up, lifts up his last draw card, and crumples it up in his hand, throwing it across the table. He then grabs the rest of his hand, and crumples them up as well, spiking them down on the table. Zaichenko quietly takes in the big pot, and Bleznick is escorted to the payout desk.”
Eliminated in 14th place for $4,706, Blesnick was then apparently banned from the WSOP for life – having been warned on multiple occasions about his behaviour. It remains to be seen if such a lengthy ban will be enforced, but it’s hardly Blesnick’s first brush with poker controversy.

As reported by BluffEurope magazine back in 2013, Blesnick was at the centre of a multi-accounting scanda
The issue [of multi-accounting] was dragged into the spotlight last September when the shit really hit the fan in an explosive high-stakes row,” they wrote. “This happened when English pro Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz accused Jared ‘harrington25’ Bleznick of multi-accounting on PokerStars. Bleznick, Schwartz alleged, was fraudulently behind accounts such as ‘longerpig’ and ‘Gozoboro’, as well as his main ‘harrington25’ handle. Schwartz blasted the New Yorker for this, saying in chat “I think it’s wrong […] not knowing who your [sic] playing.”
This led to a free-for-all amongst high-stakes poker pros – many of whom feel it is not ‘illegal’ or ‘unethical’, including Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan.
                              Dwan stated at the time:
Multiaccounting isn’t cheating. It’s a flawed rule that the sites try to enforce partly for their own benefits. That said,” continued Dwan, “in the current climate u shouldn't do it, just like u shouldn't angleshoot in a poker game. but angling and throwing in a chip that looks like a raise intentionally, while scummy, is way different than marking the cards and knowing all of them.”
Others, such as Dani ‘Ansky’ Stern, disagreed with Dwan’s stance and Blesnick’s actions.
So very disappointing to see you [Dwan] post this. Surely you realize you are looked up to and when you speak people listen. You didn't exactly give multi accounting your consent, but why post anything even mildly condoning it? We aren't talking about someone playing on someone else's account occasionally while they are bored or something. This is extremely deliberate and malicious multi accounting being used to squeeze out every cent available, from already winning players.”

                              (Photo: Cardplayer.com)

As for Blesnick’s latest bad behavior, there are many who feel a lifetime ban is too long for such a ‘misdemeanor’, but others have pointed out the repeated warnings he was given and his generally ‘scummy’ behavior on a number of other occasions.
With the WSOP still to comment publicly on the ban, quite what the full story is nobody really knows. But what some people are asking is this: if it was Phil Hellmuth ripping up the cards and throwing them about the table, would he also be banned?

I had not heard those stories, sharpy

That type of behavior doesn't surprise me from someone that has 7 figures at a very young age

I don't condone his behavior but I don't think ripping up a card and acting like a baby is grounds for lifetime suspension from the Rio. No surprise he got that lifted rather quickly

this 'talented player' deserves not to just get banned but be taken out in the Rio parking lot in the middle of the night, tied to a pole and buttraped by a dozen best-hung african americans the poker community can afford to hire

Bleznick is such a douche. I think he played the Main Event, though.

I saw on another forum the Hellmuth talked to Jack Effel and got Jared unbanned.

Bleznick is a spoiled brat with no respect for others, he definitely needs to get his ass whipped at some point to humble him

21 left...looks like Saout is out, making the final table again would have been cool

Vornicu somehow self destructed and is out...he will be on suicide watch tonight

Obst also got crippled and is low stack

I'm trying to avoid looking at the commentary and just checking chip counts a couple times a day

But what some people are asking is this: if it was Phil Hellmuth ripping up the cards and throwing them about the table, would he also be banned?

worst I ever did, meltdown-wise, is when I flopped a straight, only to see the dealer deal runner runner for a flush.... instead of tossing my cards in the muck, I sailed them, one by one, into the dealers forehead....

I immediately apologized, as I laffed and headed out of the poker room (LAuberge; phillipino lookin' dealer, small, gay-lookin' stature, several years ago)....

The reason is so ESPN can create a little drama. They will start showing epsiodes every Tuesday night starting in September I think,

The players really don't mind that much. They can get endorsement deals easier. And ESPN can actually go to hometowns for additional coverage. The players get paid 9th place money already. And this is the OCTOBER 9 not the November 9,

And jake if someone dies or doesn't show up, their chips are blinded off and the extra money won is givem away to family members

The WSOP and ESPN contract will expire after the 2018, I don't think ESPN will sign another contract. I wonder which one will pick up this contract, probably none.

I like Lon Mceachern and Norman Chad, especially Norman, he's funny. I actually think the WSOP Main Event episodes are usually good, I enjoy them.

Before the Black Friday, there was always excitement in the air when the WSOP starts, especially following the Main Event closely. I miss those good old days.

Actually the expiration of the contract means nothing to the players. That is what is so stupid about all of the poker tournaments. NO extra money goes into the pools at all.

I remember a tournament that I was in last year and the tournament director asked everyone to thank our sponsors. Most of the players laughed at that comment since the sponsors add NOTHING to the pool

Fkn guy has had a piece of so many bracelet winners it's only right for him to take this one down himself!
Reminds me of 2009 when he was more excited than Cada at the end
