Proposal for next Poker Promo = March Madness

How about this as an idea?

Next period should pretty much line up to 1/1.

Qualifying period = 9 weeks. 1/1 to 3/1.

Top 64 make the bracket. Make the tournament a H2H bracket.

Best 2 of 3 H2H tournaments. If stack starts at 1000, 10/20 blinds won't take too long to stack off. 2/3 shouldn't last more than an hour.

64-team bracket could be run off Thur, Fri, Sat 2x, Sun 2x.

Would be cool + fun. Something different, as long as software can be set up to play H2H.

If you can do world cup and just allow 4 players, why can't you just do it this way and allow 2 players? Once players win automatically input the players and such for the next round. That being said I'd like 2k because it would actually lead to better and real poker, for a while, which I know scares some people here.

I think Sammy may have commented before looking into it. They do 4 on WC, so just adjust it to 2 players. What software costs 6 figures and you can't have heads up? Make 32 private heads up sitngoes with passwords, or have WC rounds with max 2 players and passwords. Or 32 private tourneys with 2 players given passwords.

There is no way this isn't possible. I'd even be down for 3/5, but it might not "flow" with the tournament but would be more fun and less variance.

EDIT: Could also lead to a nice prize pool with gambling sponsors on sbr promoing it, because that's probably one of their biggest deposit times other than the NFL start.
