New Weekend Format

Just wanted to say I think the new weekend format is great (and I think several others agree!). Please keep it like this, far preferable (at least imo) to the super turbo format of last month.

Of course, I could be a wee bit biased since I ran like God today (getting 2nd/1st/2nd in the three tourneys!). But again I have a feeling most others agree with me, please all share your thoughts, whatever you might think, who knows maybe it's just me!

Hasn't been officially announced as Genie and I were hoping to make the 7pm tourney a 100 point buyin with rebuys, with a GTD 20 entries. But we started to lose our minds playing with settings and testing to get it right in time for this past weekend.

What do you think? Even better with a buyin tourney at the end? GTD prizes would make it definitely bigger prizes than 1pm and 4pm tournies.

It was not meant to be only one tourney per day on Weekends.

I can't remember but it was a few weekends in a row I looked at it, and there was a tourney every hour like turbo style.

Basically an all-infest and the top prize was like 130 points or something.

I think that was early August. I haven't even bothered looking since honestly.

I wasn't going to post and bitch about it. I'm usually pretty busy on the weekends and it is what it is, but 3 tournaments with a better price pool would be much better.

Edit: To clarify Opti, it was like 12 tourneys a day or something from 10 to 10.

Anyway sounds like it's much better now so I'll check it out

As usual, sbr is ready to try new and better venues. I don't always say it but I appreciate all the hard work that goes into each event. The weekend events are refreshing and buy in sounds great.

I've graduated to Dos Equis as my regular brew now. But looking forward to some of that "taste of America" PBR as soon as we can all get to vegas at once again

Dos Equis is a step up…but you still have a long journey to go to get to great beer.

As for Vegas….I’ve paid for a trip for NYE but not sure what’s going to happen between now and then with COVID. Hopefully we make it out there. It’s always a fun during that time of year.

I am not sure what is considered a great beer, but I usually stick to European beers, mostly german.
