It'd be stupid easy to set up on PPPoker app or ClubGG. ClubGG preferably. Heck- they could even set up a poker mavens skin/site with SBR logos on the tables and the cost would be minimal monthly. Maybe a few hundred? ClubGG would be free.

Was nothing anyone here did. Was the unknown software and IT dept attention on security.

I have advised admin of this issue, and they have asked techs to make sure the data is saved. No idea what will happen yet though.

Until betpoints are worth something again, does it even matter? Poker has always been a game dependent on stakes. Hell, it can just be a few dollars here and there, but it has to be something. Pure "fun money" poker doesn't work, encourages mindless betting and bluffing, destroys the soul of the game

I'm just not optimistic for them to make good on their promise to open the store again. It's been a ridiculously long time...

I will do my very best to get a version of poker back here again. We can't have the old system as it doesn't work with the new one. But even if I have to figure out a way to host contests myself (during my time so set your alarms) then I'm willing to. I just just need to get approval that this fits our new branding and isn't going to cause dramas for the new owners. This is say like maybe 40% of the Wild West now. But I'll always try for you and I have a few scores to settle with my amigo SBR John who we battle so well each other with on the poker table.

I'll try my best. I just asked. I'll let you know when I get a response

Ok my fellow turdios, and what is a show of how different a few things are here now:

I just received a response to my poker request.

Firstly you're all degens, including myself. Losing points and fighting with fricken Carseller (love you )and that other one that ranted all the time.

But they are trying to work out with our dev team how to do it properly. It's not a simple case of bringing over the old iteration onto here but the fact I got that yes, it's now a possibility had me jump a bit from my couch as two weeks ago I would've said no hope.

This is a MASSIVE development and I'd say if they're going to try, they'll get it done. It won't be for a month or two maybe but if this so much more of a hope than we had a few days ago. They listen to you and I really appreciate that. They're not always the most vocal but those of us you know will continue to be.

I'm seriously so happy right now. Let them tell me I can get an auto tennis contest and i'll probably wee myself with joy!!

We can only try Philly! I've got to say these people are beyond and above so if they can get it done they will. I wish I was more techie and could just do something one Saturday and make things happen but I sadly can't.

They're guns though and if it can be done they'll get it done (and then please start hassling for my tennis contests please!)

If you’ve ever worked with programmers then you know to take the timeframe they give you and at minimum double it.

Work with software engineers everyday at my workplace. And they can get multi-million dollar test sets online in about 2 months. It’s certainly much more complicated than a simple poker system.

And yes, they are almost always over cost and over budget on these activities.
