Bring poker back! I was a daily visitor to the site when we had poker games, now not so much.

Exactly. SBR Poker was a great attraction.

The CORRECT executive decision would be to bring Poker back. Was fun to compete for a few gift-cards.

Poker died here when 95% of the players would only play with rollover points and then hit and run as soon as they met the rollover.

it was great when me, Steve, Biteme, Rudy, and 5-6 others would actually gamble with our own points. I quit playing when you only had guys left that would quit as soon as they could get $25 in Bitcoin.

They should bring it back without the welfare points from tourneys. Make the tournaments 300-1000 point Buyin with a slight overlay and no rollover. This would cost SBR almost nothing. Of course that would only work if you could do something with the points.

I remember several nights of buying on with 500-1000 points and running it up 10k.

I miss it too. But as far as I know it isn't going to make a comeback.

The poker forum isn't even still included on the menus.

@BigOrange the cash in points for bitcoin really put a damper on points usage for any fun. I think that was a mistake. Turned the place too much into another free internet earner opportunity.

Opti, the SBR brass has to realize that the forum is declining. The two main attractions of the forum were Betpoints and Poker.

What am I missing here? Is the brass OK with this forum declining toward zero?

Chucky….completely agree. The site is basically a ghost town now.

As much as some hated the ol’ World Cup…wouldn’t it be nice to be on the rail cheering a teammate right now. Or cursing PO69 for blinding out of a tournament when he’s on your team.

Well they are definitely way less interested in raw traffic numbers than quality of content. I can say that for sure just from observations.

Watching the numbers it appears we have already hit rock bottom and are on the bounce back up at least though.

I expect a rush of activity and improvements at some point still. Really no idea when but as soon as the dev team is told to focus on it I guess. Most of their focus remains on Covers still right now.

Did the forum traffic return when football came back?

The few times I passed through doesn’t look good.

Miss the days of the Sunday tournaments while watching football.
