11:30 Amazing flop. Nut Flush Draw + Over...vs...Up/Down Straight Draw + 3rd Nut flush draw.

Very passive action on this hand. JT has to be thinking chk-raise on a flop that good.

How does the $$ not get all in on this runout? JT has to be thinking All-in on turn to protect against AK with Ad.

And pretty weak to check down w/ A7 on the river. All-in would have been easily called. And pretty amateurish to think Villain made a Full House on that river.

26:20 I don't question the open or the call w/ 22. Norman Chad thinks not enuf blinds behind to call.

Farnes obviously had a plan. Try to hit a set, or go all in on flop where he thinks he's ahead.

Farnes does Stop/Go all-in. Eames with an easy call w/ the Robust Straight/Flush draw and overs.

Look at how big of a Fav Eames is on the flop. Sickest river card. Counterfeit 2-pair, win w/ 9-hi.

This video is at L20 stage, I believe. Two tables remaining.

Being hailed as a great call. How do you NOT call?

I really don't see it as a "Great call." I just see it as very well-played.

Atten flops top-pair w/ good kicker. And does it on a pretty dry board. Has to think he doesn't get called by much other than QJ.

He's blocking KJ and QT. On the dry board, he played it to induce a bluff. He checked the kq TWICE to feign weakness.

Props to Atten for an excellent strategy. There are only a few hands he's losing to. But once he proceeds like that on turn, he setting himself up to call down on river.

8:00 Do you make that call? I think Jorstad has to bluff at it with the Nut-low.

Calling is much tougher. Jorstad might have rivered a 6, which he would bet.

Jorstad likely checks down King-hi. So, Atten has to feel like the bet is bluffy. Big difference btw Bluff-catching with Q-hi (vs K-hi).

The call on the final hand was a bit like something I would do when really tired and just wanting to gamble to the cash or the door.

Yes, Opti. That was a punt. I thought the $$ might go in quicker there.

                          In defense of Attenborough:
                          1) A bit unlucky to flop top pair on low-board vs Trips.
                          2) There has to be something in his mental registry that tells him his "top pair on flop" is good a hi% of time there.
                          3) My observation is that he's a good player. But he turns the game into much of Bluffing/Bluff-Calling.

I'll give one counter-intuitive reason that Atten might call there. I would have thought Jorstad might check river to induce bluff. Surely, Atten may feel justified in shoving bluffs and 2-pair hands.

Thought it might be easier for Jorstad to get it all w/ a Check-call. By shoving, Jorstad gets Atten to think that he's NOT boated.

Agree with the logic about all-in = does not have the boat. Exactly why I would convince myself to call in the spot.

I heard it was a well-timed Jorstad bluff. Villain tanked and then folded (what would have been the winner). I think.
