I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but did you consider asking the question the opposite way? Why would she give the money back if she was cheating? You cheat because you're greedy, and precedent says the law won't punish you for cheating in a poker game. You cheat because you think you can leave that casino with the money with total immunity. You don't cheat to give the money back

I think it's very possible she felt overwhelmed by the response to her terrible call, felt embarrassed, doesn't care that much about the money and wanted to fix it and be able to stay in the game. If she was cheating, she's under too much of a microscope to ever get away with it in the long-term, so giving back the money to stay in the game wouldn't be a good move either

when you are cheating the objective is not to get caught. if you realize you got caught then you would probably try to appease the person you cheated and give up on the profit. also, as i mentioned before, the main penalty for cheating is lawsuits. if you give back the money then what grounds can they sue you for? there are no monetary damages. it looks like postle lost his money from having to pay for his and other ppls lawyers when he sued for defamation since they were frivolous lawsuits.

i would like to know her interaction with garrett in the "dark hallway". if garrett is lying and he was threatening and asked her to give him the money back then i would be more inclined to believe she didnt cheat. but if she was the one who volunteered the money and garrett didnt do anything outrageous i think she is cheating since she is basically lying about everything so far.

i highly doubt she got intimidated into giving him the money because she wanted him to come back and play according to ppl commentating on this. explain to me what type of person would actively try to get someone to keep playing poker with them if they were terrified of them and that person might make them give back any money that they won in the future?

You guys are still wondering what happened? She is a horrible poker player that got lucky or she cheated. If she cheated she could see his cards (with the help of the card cam?). If you watch the first 10 min of the full stream from HCL, you will see the floorman Loui setup the table alone. He pulls out his cell phone and turns to his left into an awkward position where his left hand and phone go out of camera view. He then picks up his coffee with his right hand, lifts the cup slightly and you can see him using and looking at his phone underneath. He never sips his coffee and puts it back down (as if to be ready to sip it if someone sees him). After he completes whatever he did with his phone, he puts the coffee back down and phone into his pocket.

After this, RIP (Robbi's backer) comes in and first bumps Loui the floorman as they are friends. Loui spreads out the seat draw cards and RIP pulls the closest card but doesnt flip it over, just puts it aside. He then flips over the 2nd closest card and draws the 7 seat. Loui then holds the 1st card that RIP pulled and keeps it face down against the felt while mixing the other cards for the next draw. He is making sure he can control that first card. Robbi comes up and Loui spreads out the cards to her. But that card he was controlling ends up in the same location which is closest to Robbi. She pulls that same card and flips it to take the 2 seat. This is at least a 3man cheat scam.

My theory is the floorman hacked the shuffle machine so it can be read by someone remotely and then signal Robbi. RIP is there to help collude action whenever necessary to isolate someone or to help fold out people they dont want in the pot. Might have to be a 4 man scam.

I theorize that it's more tech advanced than a stacked deck. Some sort of trojan file to connect the shuffle machine reader to the rfid info in order to distinguish each card to the assigned rfid number. Since the cheat team is possibly unable to get the programmed info from the server, they probably need to attack the shuffle machine.

so she released a statement about why she wasnt pressing charges against a guy who stole from her. she couldnt recall having met Bryan Sagbigsal when told who he was even though she followed him on twitter. she didnt want to damage the young man's life since he was young, had minimal funds and no prior history of prior offenses. the guy already spent the money too. she is just so generous!

Besides, what exactly did she cheat? Even after the call, she was a dog to win the hand. So are we saying that she knew not only his hold cards, but also the river card coming? She knew it all? Because otherwise, if she only knew his hole cards, then why would she stay in after the flop. She was a 70% dog.

She's just dumb and misread/misplayed the hand, and then got lucky. And then got even dumber giving him half the money back.

And if she had all this intel and was gonna cheat, why choose that hand, unless she literally knew every card in play and what was gonna come. Just not buying that.

And I didn't see the whole thing, but if she knew everything, then why didn't she apparently cheat on prior hands that might have been more sure things?

i dont think ppl think that she knew the cards. the guy who took money off her stack works in the booth with other ppl so he has to signal her secretly without them noticing. thats why shes tanking so long waiting for him when in big hands. on some other streams she didnt tank at all before she started cheating. ppl think she only cheated occasionally when she was in a big pot with a hard decision and she only knew if she was good or not and not what the other cards were.

the 4 of hearts and the 6 of clubs were not reading properly and had to be switched out. so the guy in the booth might have thought she had j6 of clubs. this would make her around a 72.73% favorite depending on what other ppl had that folded.

i dont know if u heard about the chess cheating alegation with the vibrating anal beads. but this same guy was asking on twitter a week before the alleged poker cheating about how they cheated in the chess match.

also she was being staked by another guy at the table who was friends the floor man at the game. who would stake some newbie poker player like her in high stakes cash for hundreds of thousands? maybe he was sleeping with her but still.

then she made that really crazy play and when called on it she was just so nice to give the money back so the other guy wasnt upset and would keep playing. this was money that wasnt even hers since she was staked.

then she lied about misreading her hand several times and lied about being garrett intimidating her for the money. then some "stranger" that she follows on twitter stole 15k from her and already lost the money but she is just so nice that she doesnt want to charge him since his is young, poor, and has no criminal history the cops told her. now we find out he does have a criminal history and would the cops tell her his finances or even know his finances? so she most likely lied again.

to me its way more likely that she is a cheater than all of these weird coincidences happening.

The staff guy taking money from her stack adds a huge layer of weirdness to the case. Previously I was like 60/40 that she didn't cheat, now I'm maybe 70/30 that she did. Her saying nonsensical things about her hand, giving back the money, etc. all seemed reasonably in the range of an intimidated fish who didn't really care about the money. But now it's getting a bit too strange, too many things adding up

It's pretty mindblowing how bad at cheating you have to be to play that hand that way though...

Genuine and honest people do not throw around so much speculation like that without backing it up.

I think from experience I can say with some confidence that Garrett is not an honest person.
