Progressive Knock Out tournaments is what I meant so say.
I do love PLO and O8 too by the way, I taught myself "Eight Card Poker" I loved it, then I bought Black Rain's book on Omaha for the finer points. Like NLHE, position still is critical, after that, there's a ton of differences.
If somebody can't handle the insane variance of Omaha poker, then one shouldn't play it.

That's the number of different starting hands in Omaha.
And that's ignoring the suits.
The strategy changes in certain spots in these and call very light or any 2 in some cases when big bounty on the line. Cashing or making the money isn't as much a priority in these if you can bag some big KOs.
I have also seen Mystery Bounty Tournaments where there a few massive ones and the vast majority smaller ones.
