I saw this hand come thru on Youtube.
1) My first question was going to be Seidel's sizing on the Flop.
...My guess was going to be SMALL. Like 30%. So, $45 into $150.
...This is a hand used to mis-play. I used to bet BIGGER.
...When you hold TOP PAIR + Flush Draw, you have a 90% lock on the hand versus most holdings.
...I say that b/c you are locking up the value on the top end of the board. Very hard for your opponent to have a better pair + a better draw.
...0:30 There it is. Seidel bet $50 into $150, which looks WEAK on a board this wet. Easy call for 97s.
2) Js on the Turn. Seidel has the 3rd Nuts + the Str8 also came in. This card SHOULD BE bad for Seidel's Top Pair + good for the caller.
...Bechaned bets with the 4th Nuts. Seidel could easily have a Qx hand with a re-draw. Say KQo with the Ks.
