Check out the Pre-flop action on this hand

    A few observations:

    1) Players bet to their sizing. Unless you're elite, big bet = Big Hand.
    2) One constant in Poker. Ratcheting up your hand = extreme strength.
...This can be a Raise or a Progression across streets.
...If player's sizing is big, they love their hand.

    3) I'll be totally honest. I could never lay down EITHER of those hands Pre-Flop.
...I've folded TT pre-flop (behind action). It would take huge action for me to fold JJ.
...KK/QQ are in the top 18 combos of starting hands. So, top 1.4% hands.
...The woman could have AKs (probably not AKo). The suited AK plays so much better than the Off-suit AK.

AA player should have been the one to 3 bet. She prob would have won a lot more, in hindsight.

Saw that a couple weeks ago...if she flat called again, then Hutter goes all in with KK.

In that spot a limp or flat call with AA then the 4 or 5 bet(can't remember exact action), screams AA

I think so, Opti. A standard 3-bet keeps AK in your range.

The way she played it, she might as well have turned her hand Face Up. Call 3.5, next action = Raise to 63. Passive-Aggressive much?

Yes, Jake. Thanks for the post. I enjoy discussing these spots.

Taking a step back and looking at the Pre-Flop action, her bet-sizing is insane. Holding AA, you want $$ to go in. These guys are doing the heavy lifting for you.

Eichele doesn't have a ton behind. If you call once, call again. If I was in that hand, a 2nd call would have me putting her on a Tier 2 hand that can't fold. Middling Pocket Pair in my mind like 99.

There's a saying in Poker that you want to isolate to play against One player, not Multiple players. Eichele's bet effectively does that for you, b/c he's pot-committed.

The LAST thing in the world you want to do is to fold out Hutter, who has a deeper stack. Are you really that worried about getting AA cracked against one player?

            What a hand! lol

I could never just flat AA pre-flop - I have seen that move bite too many people on the butt. (The 3.5k)

I totally respect the KK fold - but she gave her hand away after flatting and then 5 betting.
