I am happy to announce that poker is back at SBR! We are going to kick it off with a $300 freeroll this month and
follow it up with $100 weekly freerolls in Oct and Nov. Prizes are on us - but BYOB!


Details:

$300 SBR Freeroll

Date and Time: Sunday, Sept 29th at 7pm ET

Prizepool: (paid in Amazon or paypal payments - please allow sufficient time to receive)

1st - $100
2nd - $75
3rd - $60
4th - $40
5th - $25

Who can play: All SBR members who have posted at least once in the past month. You will need to post your PokerStars username in this thread before you request to join the club.

Might want to take the prize payouts out of the tournament lobby. I've been in clubs that got closed down for mentioning cash prize amounts. The idea of them allowing the home games is not to avoid paying rake. If we all know what the payouts are and it's posted to SBR that should be good enough.

Good and valid point.

You should be able to do that Optional - if you don't have time it could be mid-week before I can get in there. We would need to notify anyone who has already registered for the game that they will need to register again.

When I had only the software from .com site installed (real money), same result, clicking the link went to nothing.

Then I installed the play money software from .net and click link and that client will launch.

The install file you download should be called PokerStarsInstallPM.exe

If you let the program install to it's default location on a windows computer, it will be located in a folder named pokerstars.NET if it is the correct version.

The pokerstars PA real money is probably different version than the .com real money I started with, but hopefully the same will apply and you can install both the PA and the play money one from .NET.
