I don't eat cancer, and I tip people when I feel positive energy and feel I have had quality service.
Do you tip the pizza delivery drivers anymore?

#144Not like official complaint. Dominos has its order tracker, they know whose fault it is. I seriously would never order from Dominos, but prime-time, the good pizza joints take an hour or so to deliver, and I just don't want to wait that long sometimes. In the comment box I give Dominos a friendly reminder that I only order from them because it is fast, and when it takes an hour and a half to get my pizza... I'll consider going elsewhere next time. I'm also sure to let them know that the pizza was pretty good as it usually is.
I don't abuse it as some fukks would, and I'm not a cheap fuk like this guy, I'm still tipping the driver 20%-25% no matter what, so I doubt he is going to screw me over.
its usually pretty good but you said you seriously would never orderComment -

#146I said any penetrate that poisons ppls food deserves a shot in the head. Hearing justifications like "I can do whatever I want to ppls food right or wrong" is like a mad dog that needs to be put down, I've heard that response from multiple "former delivery drivers" in this thread and it makes me sick.Comment -

#148I did when I was young.
Most noticeable pattern I found with tipping was that the poorer the house looked the more likely and bigger the tip usually. Big rich looking houses mostly didn't tip at all.
Most 'Rich' people become that way by concentrating on keeping as much money as possible. It's only the minority that can become rich by making as much money as possible.
And poor people generally just don't value money, despite how much they carry on about lack of it ruining their lives..Comment -

#150Since you generous souls like tipping so much Ive decided to open up a business and move to an all tipping economy....my slaves err uhh employees will do basically any job you want. Lets say you want them to clean your house you call me up and I will charge the standard housecleaning costs and send my crew out but my employees will only get paid what you decide to tip them...dont worry though tipping is optional
This is a great idea bc I keep all the profits as all the costs of my service business are now paid directly by the customer so I'll be very rich soon as I have absolutely no expenses...sounds great!
The only downside is if you dont tip them they will probably rob you...so if I were you I would tip very well unless you dont mind a few of your valuables missing
Ya see essentially you have stolen their paycheck when you dont tip and are a cheap bastard and deserve to have your house fuked with....and of course you'll get what you deserve right or wrongLast edited by bettilimbroke999; 01-15-13, 10:54 AM.Comment -
#151When you're cheap, you get 'marked.' I used to work at a pizza place (as a 16 yr old kid in the mid 90's), we call you guys 'marks' and all drivers/ cooks knew who you are. I know for a fact that people put pubes on cheap-o's pizza. I know people spit, blown their goo, even thrown dinkle-berries on food from pricks like you. It happens, bud. And this was 20 years ago. With the economy in the tank like today, it HAS TO be worse. And you dumb bastards never catch the crap they'd throw/ blow in your pizza.
I make $65/ hour so no need to be cheap. I tip about 20% standard anywhere I go. If you live off of Dominoes, I am guessing you don't make as much - likely a college kid, right?
You order $10 pizzas, you likely live in double-wide land. No where north of banjo-land can you get a pizza that cheap from a chain restaurant.Last edited by the_orangekat; 01-15-13, 11:30 AM.Comment -
#152nope not anymore since they dont even come to the door anymore and I have to come downComment -

The argument here is about being charged a delivery charge vs what one should tip for delivery...if you pay 10 bucks for a pizza and get charged $1.50 charge I would tip a buck on top of that which is a 25% delivery fee. Beyond that Ill just drive the 2 miles and pick it up myself bc Im not gonna pay 7 bucks or whatever you like to pay to get an ice cold 10 dollar pizza delivered in 45 mins. I'll just drive the 2 miles and get it fresh out the oven in 15 mins.Last edited by bettilimbroke999; 01-15-13, 09:39 PM.Comment -

#156Best thing about SBR is listening to the idiots braggin about how much money they make...absolutely fukin pathetic. These are normally the 5 dollar a game bettors that have no self-esteem

#157Tip the pizza guy at least 2 bucks, don't be a cheapskateComment -
#158
Because it takes money to make money. Maybe that warehouse worker ain't got a car to ride around in and put miles on.
PS: not a pizza delivery driverComment -
#159I always feel obligated to tip the pizza dude at least $5.00
That's why I don't order pizza... because I'm a cheap ass... but I can't tip him lower than a $5.00Comment -
#160
I cant understand why drivers would leave notes about who tips the best....if I knew somebody tips 5 bucks a time I would say the rooster_eater stiffed me and delivery his pie everytime...fukin puttin it in the notes that they're great tippers where I never get to deliver it...but I guess delivery drivers are as stupid as they lookComment -
#161i work for tips so i usually tip pretty good...$6 min and if service is good $10+Comment -
#162$2 tip is about rightComment -

#164I ordered $27.50 worth of pizza, paid a $1.50 delivery fee, and tipped the dude who brought it to me $6. Lemme guess, I'm psycho right?Comment -
#16510% is a fair tip for a pizza guy. $20 order $2 tipComment -
#166Tip 20 bucks next time....have the guy make 100 bucks an hour delivering pies so they dont jackoff in your pizza I dont care....if you guys are so rich you want to tip everyone you meet 100s have fun. I'd rather send a 100 to St Jude to help kids with cancer than give a 100 to a ***** that jizzes in ppls food but thats just me...keep up the good workLast edited by bettilimbroke999; 01-20-13, 04:34 PM.Comment -
#167+1.50 delivery charge so $3.50 tip. I had no problem tipping $3.50 back in the old days when the pizza was delivered like magic to my door in 20 mins (bc 30 mins or more and it was half price) but now days when a cold as ice pizza (damn near fukin leftovers it takes so long) I can barely tolerate eating is delivered in 45+ mins from a Domino's thats only 2 miles away penetrate em, in truth they dont deserve even the $1.50 charge for such a shitty job and these dumb fuks on here are tippin em $7.50
Now I just get it carryout (just found out theyve got some phenomenal carryout specials right now like X-large 1 topping for 10 bucks which is like 14 delivered) they charge no delivery charge and I have to tip zero and not worry about some 16 year old ****** spitting in my pizza bc I only tipped him 2 bucks ($3.50 in reality) and he cant buy a dime bag with that...and now I get it hot and fresh out the oven in 15 minsComment -

#169I always tip a couple of bucks even if the delivery time wasn't particular great. These guys get most of their income from tips and its always appreciated I'm sure. It's just the right thing to do IMO.Comment -

Yea payin the 3 penetrates you got makin 30 cent combos you charge 6 bucks for is really gonna close the doors....GO SUCK A DICK!
THEN EXPECT TO NOT ONLY PAY THE DRIVERS NOTHING BUT ALSO CHARGE A DELIVERY CHARGE FOR IT AND THEN HAVE THE CUSTOMERS PAY THEIR WAGES OR GET THEIR FOOD SPIT IN...UNFUKINREAL WHERE THIS COUNTRIES AT!Last edited by bettilimbroke999; 01-20-13, 05:28 PM.Comment -
#171They have to pay for gas. You want there to be no built in delivery fee so that every time someone wants delivery instead of carryout, the difference comes out of the company's pocket? Get real. No business ever would do that. They have to account for the reality that gas costs money. Bottom line is they have to have this charge, and no, it does not go to the drivers
If it's such a ridiculously simple job to drive it to you (and yeah it's easy, nobody's saying it isn't), then drive there to pick it up yourself and don't pay any tip. Having food delivered to your fat ass front door is a luxury. If you can't afford to tip the guy for doing what you're too busy or lazy to do yourself, don't order deliveryLast edited by blankoblanco; 01-20-13, 06:19 PM.Comment -

You're saying Domino's keeps that money but then saying it goes for gas.....Im not following, is the $1.50 turned over to the driver to pay him (for gas, car maintenance, wage whatever) or does Domino's keep it
Where does that $1.50 go and how is the mnotherfucker paid, by delivery charge + tip + wages or delivery charge + tips, wages + tips, or just tips only and Domino's pockets the 1.50 for nothing?Last edited by bettilimbroke999; 01-20-13, 10:12 PM.Comment -
#174i got a free pizza friday night from papa johns and tipped the girl 6 bucks. always throw big tips out when i dont have to pay for the pizza. easiest way to get on the good side of the delivery service with out actually throwing money awayComment -
#175I dont understand what you're saying? If it goes for gas then it goes to the delivery drivers right? Yes or no? I mean the driver pays for the gas in his car right?

I'm thinking Domino's is charging the delivery fee for convenience. They might help the drivers with gas I'm not sure.Comment
