Once again - Happy Memorial Day! Has anybody ever had the 'Spicy Thai Chicken Pizza' from 'The Yard House'? We made a pretty good copy of it, 'Firecracker Sauce' was just sweet chili sauce & soy sauce mixed together, swapped out the Macadamia nuts for cashews and BBQ'd it - tasted like the real thing!

I thought ‘The Yard House’ was everywhere, like Applebee’s. Little known fact, ‘The Yard House’ was called that because they would serve you a ‘Yard’ (3 foot long) beer in a 3 foot long glass beaker container that (obviously) didn’t fit on the table, so it came in a special wood ‘holder’ that you set next to you on the floor. Needless to say, they would get knocked over, or used as weapons by drunks, so that stupid concept was ditched - for obvious reasons. But, you can still get a ‘half-yard’ (pictured) - still, pretty dumb concept. But, they’ve always got like 100+ beers on tap, games on the T.V.’s, and decent food…..
