How many of you guys ever use Uber? I travel a lot for work and Uber is incredibly more convenient than most cab services and a ton cheaper. You can set your *********** to pay for the ride, they just pick you up, hit your card for the final ride amount, no signing anything, no getting wallet out. Its easy. So last night I am in my uber to the hotel and struck a convo with the girl who said she liked lyft better (competing service) because you could tip through the app instead of having to give cash in uber. I was kind of floored and assumed she was trying to get me to give her some cash so I didn't of course but when I googled it I came across a lot of articles talking about tipping (one of them: https://www.thezebra.com/insurance-n...r-uber-driver/)
I hate it and never will tip in cash - the biggest convenience for me of all this is that its all done automatically and I just get an e-mailed receipt. I am a *********** rewards whore so cash would piss me off - I get nothing when I use it - haha. I would be totally fine if the app built in a thing that just let me always tip 15% or whatever unless I specifically denied it (you rate drivers so just say anyone over 3 stars gets a tip or whatever).
Am I in the minority here? Anyone use Uber often that tips cash all the time?
