You make it sound simple, as if building the wall will fix this issue. This is a historical issue that every country and empire since the dawn of time has dealt with, America isn't that special. People have been fleeing their homelands all across the world way before anyone flocked to the US.

Let me re-emphasize, the wall doesn't bother me. We agree that illegal immigration is a problem but we cannot lose sight of the human element at play here. A large majority of the illegal immigrants aren't bad people, they're simply trying to improve their lives or the lives of their families. In the meantime, they're jeopardizing American sovereignty, breaking American law, some # of them are taking advantage of the system in place, but most are just people trying to live a better life.
