Ironic. Wife had never seen so started rewatching with her last week. Halfway through Season 2. I'm a big fan of it. Since it was on several other shows that are phenomenal came along and surpassed it. When it was airing nothing was close.

It's just dated now. It's the same with The Wire. Back when those shows were new though, nothing else could compete.

It's a show about EVERYTHING. Takes some appreciation. But you're right, it's not best ever.

I can understand his point. The OP is comparing a show that started 20 years ago and ended 12 years ago to the media of today. When The Sopranos first started, HDTV wasn't even a thing. I remember being so excited that I could watch tv shows in amazing 720p quality. And so many different shows in the meantime stole elements from The Sopranos, so now the things that made the show special are ordinary. The idea that someone can watch such an old show and even find it ok, means that it was absolutely mind-blowing in its heyday.

No im not. I was in college when this came out. Never watched it. Im saying it’s not as good as people make it out to be

You missing the wire. I would replace SOA w The Wire. SOA not bad but think some give it too much love. Took me a long time to get talked into that one but once I did watch I went back and started from beginning.

Is redzone just Sunday nfl network thing? If so that don’t belong! Lol. If not no clue wtf it is.

I generally don’t include the 30 minute sitcoms with these but Seinfeld was great, the office and Big Bang theory pretty good too.
