Ya, people need to temper their fear with reason. Of course aspects of the virus are concerning but there is nothing to be afraid of. The irrational response will likely do more damage than the virus itself.

Its a virus, it spreads. We need to move pst the surprise element. Its going to spread further and honesty when it does, when it strikes close to home, it will likely to do little no damage.

No need for fear or panic, the media has fukked this up

The problem is it has nothing to do with the illness. What it does is wipe out warehouse supplies for 2 weeks, so you better buy a little extra until supply catches up.

In another 45 or so days all flights will be grounded. Schools and most work will be shutdown for 30 days or so. Checkpoints on roadways in certain cities. This is just the beginning. Trump will have no choice but have to put major restrictions in place for this doesn't spread like wild fire as it already is going too.

I think that's a mistake. Genie is out of the bottle. It's going to spread regardless. And it doesn't hurt most people. What we need to do is make sure at-risk people shelter in place and restrict contact with them. Not restrict everyone.

But maybe Trump is looking into whatever he can use to cancel the election and stay President. Very possible.

Yeah, the worry is the at risk but I don't thinks it's going to go that way.

So much easier to shut down the schools than round up all the grandparents and put in one place (simplifying here of course).

Elk Grove, CA, as far as I know, is going to shut down the school system.

Again, it's not a fear that kids will get sick and die, it's about the spread of the cold to those at risk.

But you just can't shut down everything. So you target those at risk. No need to round em all up. Just instruct to shelter in place and put systems in place to watch after them. If there is going to be a mass response, that's it. Randomly keeping kids home from school is not the answer to this one.

And the first thing I said when I heard it was happening was that it was not the answer as they would have to shut them all down, not just one city. It's ridiculous.

Schools r just the start..they always gonna go the extra mile to keep kids safe as the should even though this virus doesn't seem to be target of them. Next will be air travel in and out. Then will be a shutdown of non essential personal employees. The thinking is you keep most people grounded and home for say 30 days to keep it from spreading. You got no vaccine and or cure. There gonna come a time when this is spreading like crazy and the panic the news will drum up will force Trump to make major restrictions on movement. Trump is in a no win situation. If he doesn't put restrictions in place they call for his head..if he does do it they say he over reacted and call for his head. This whole thing is a shit strom and is just starting to brew
