Bernie Sanders is at least partly right -- we need a "peaceful revolution" or we will get a violent revolution.
I prefer the former, but if the white ruling class and their sycophants continue to oppose it - because they feel they are losing their "white priviledge" - then the latter is likely.

The police were going around downtown today going over procedures for business owners on what they should be prepared for in case things get bad over the next week.

it's exactly the opposite in most us cities... "white flight" happened because people like me saw their kids physically and mentally abused, their friends murdered, and personally i was robbed and stabbed

I can see how resentment would build --- much like BLACKS today feeling the same but worse after literally 200+ years of systemic racism that we see boiling over today. Blacks are disproportionately targeted, arrested, charged, and imprisoned compared with whites - despite being outnumbered 10 to 1....and both imprisoned and with longer sentences for the SAME CRIMES as whites. FACT! I will accept you had a few bad experiences, sure, we all have.... though that should never paint ALL minorities with the same brush. In a general sense, this is because blacks don't want to learn growing up. They want to play. They don't have an interest in reading and learning. I substitute taught for years in the inner city. You know what. Never had any issues. They were all really good to me. I had a few minor issues but never was threatened or messed with. I know I say lots of things on here, but I'm not as bad as what I write (lmfao). The major thing I noticed is they just didn't care. They would listen to their Ipods with hip-hop music all day and not want to learn or work on anything.
The lack of wanting to be educated, and wanting to learn is the biggest problem IMHO. It's a cultural thing. Learning is "gay" or learning is frowned upon. It's a hive mindset so the kids that actually do want to learn and become educated are isolated and demeaned. That whole "don't learn the white man's ways" is basically stuck in their culture.
But that is basically true. I saw that a lot in some of the very mixed schools I taught at. You would still see whites at one lunch table in the cafeteria and the blacks at the other. This was only about 8 years ago when I stopped subbing. I doubt it has changed that much. It's natural, absolutely natural, to go to the table with the other white kids. It's nature to do so. Yet, these "planners" or "controllers" try to force the opposite. Up is down. Down is up.

Hehfest--the more I read your posts, I am inclined to agree with you, that you're not a bad guy. It is hard to get past some of your Nazi leanings, but you strike me as a sensible guy.
Now on to this post--I think you're on to something here. There are all too many young black kids who are derailed from decent futures because of peer pressure when they are kids. If their parents instill in them the need to do well in school and get good grades, way too many of their peers will say they're not "black enough". This mentality seems to be more prevalent in the junior high through high school years. If striving to do well in school, learning decent social skills, and getting along with others continues to be considered as "selling out"-- well, we're going to continue on the path we're on.
