To make matters worse, at least in the US, more people are also moving to hurricane prone areas like Florida. We are likely to blow past the 1.5c average warming by 2028...

Here's a sample size you can not ignore.

Every 40,000 years (give or take) the gravitational pull of the sun would make the Earth tilt slightly towards it.
Then every 100,000 years the Earth's orbit around the sun would turn from its regular circular pattern to more like an oval, moving Earth further from the sun.

I earned twelve credits in college in Earth Science, I learned a thing or two about a thing or two along the way.

Well perhaps you could employ that "thing or two" you learned to show us any evidence of where in the scientific record of the Earth's temperature it has ever before increased as fast as it has over the past 50 years.

I'm not a denier, there are things we can do to make that atmosphere cleaner, to slow things down some.

The point I'm trying to make is weather is cyclical.

I have the solution but I'm not volunteering to help.
There are too many people. People need energy and 95% of what we use to produce energy creates pollution.
Decreasing the population would help, and I'm not lining up to help that solution.
Stopping the growth of the pop. is what is needed.
