My friend just bought a Hyundai Sonata and lives it, my other friend has an altima. You probably can't go wrong with any of those good quality cars, just depends on how you like the look. Like I for example hate the look of the honda civics.
I have an Accord and just got an Altima 2 months ago as a company car. I like the Accord better. I actually prefer the Subaru Legacy over any of them though.
would you buy the camry knowing it will be redesigned for 2012 or wait?
sonata looks awesome but worried about long term reliability and poor resale value.
altima looks nice and is the cheapest but heard cvt (?) transmission wasnt good.
I have seen some good deals on Camry's at my local dealer. The redesigned models will probably come out a little more expensive. My local Toyota dealer offers a life time powertrain warranty on all new Toyota's. We have two toyota's and many of my friends have bought toyota's the past couple of years.
Just buy a Used 09 Lexus IS350 or Acura RL for same price,...
hhahaa. But as you said you cant really go wrong with Toyota, honda, or nissan. There very good cars and built to last. The toyota and honda will have better resale value then the sonata or altima tho.
Buy American.. Chevy Impala is the best mid size sedan
his first car was a ford and it would often stall in the middle of the road. it was a new car mind you. just one of dozens of problems he had. plus everytime it was washed the paint would come off!
Right out of the box, the Hyundai Sonata received an impressive 36-month residual value of 54 percent of manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) from Automotive Lease Guide (ALG), the industry benchmark for residual values. The residual value topped popular competitive 2010 models from Toyota, Nissan, Ford, and Chevrolet, in addition to premium brands such as Lexus, BMW and Mercedes.
This represents the lowest depreciation in the midsize car segment. The 2011 Sonata even outperforms Honda, depreciating $640 over a three-year period less than a comparably-equipped 2010 model year Accord. Strong residuals add to Sonata’s value equation, indicating higher trade-in value for buyers and lower monthly payment for lessees.

wow, that could change things.
last residual values i saw said sonata was worth only around 27% after 4 years compared to 50% for accord.
