Just saw that movie, "Drive".

Totally agree, but all the critics loved this piece of shit movie for whatever reasons. I went to see it based on all the reviews and everybody that went with me hated it as well. I couldn't stand all the staring the main character does without saying a word and the movie never did explain wtf was the scorpion on his jacket suppose to mean? The camera focuses on the scorpion several times but not a word what it means.

i thought drive was awesome and one of the best films of the year but i can see where you are coming from. Its not really a movie that appeals to mass audiences and kinda like a art house acion movie. The main dudes charachter doenst say alot becuase he doesnt really have to maybe because he was a quiet guy and that mystery made his charachter even more interesting. Also sometimes the best performances are when the person says very little but uses his body language and ect to get their points across. I can also see that some people may think its slow and boring becuase it was very quiet (espcially in the beginning) becuase of little dialogue and for me the silence wasnt boring because it was either very tense or calm and i would prefer that over have bad cheesy dialogue that spoon feeds me everything. The music was very 80's pop and the movie is very stylised but i dug it.

But as the movie goes on you didnt think it got better? especially when the violence got amped up?

No. Transporter was awesome. I remember thinking, "I can't wait for the sequel," after seeing the movie.

Whether you go to see a movie for "stupid" action, or a thought provoking plot the essential aspect is entertainment. You must be entertained in order to fulfill your $10 order.

I felt that Drive was not entertaining. It had its moments, but overall was not good. I came in with major expectations, and that may be why I felt so strongly about the movie.

But like in your prior post, intelligent minds can differ.

Lol hey dude, i wasnt calling u stupid or anything for not liking the movie or for liking the transporter in fact i agree with u because alot of would've seen the trailer, promo and things and seen the action and expected something like the transporter when its actually a indie movie.
