    What idiot decided that made sense?

    Or was it just Laziness/ too complicated to start it on the last weekend of August?

      Because contest starts with NFL Week 1. We CAN'T start contest today because there is NFL Preseason going on, and we can't start between Friday and Monday because we do not want to start in the middle of a college week. Makes sense?
