A welcoming message when you sign up...
I recently signed up with a poker forum and after I signed up I had one new PM. Looked at it and it was a basic automatic message. But it was nice because it said "Thank you for signing up,check out these features on the fourm, here are the mods handles in case you want to ask anything, pleae check out our contests'...blah blah blah"

It was nice to have it and I wouldnt mind seeing something like this at SBR.

I send each and every new registrant here an e-mail from my work account, AAO. It includes information for checking out the FAQ section of the site, and obviously gives each new poster my e-mail address in case they have any problems such as not being able to log-in to their account. I'm guessing a lot of the people never see them because of spam filters with their ISP.

Not that you shouldnt send the email...but no one ever misses the PM...

But anyway it was just a suggestion...take it for what you will.

That's a good idea. Listing the features in a PM would be there for their future reference. We will add it.
