    Confused by Soccer Spreads
I am confused why there are commas between two spreads in Soccer. For example "Brazil -½,-1 +104". I understand the price but don't understand the "-½,-1" part of it.

Also if I were to pick "Ivory Coast +½ +115" is that the same as picking the prop "Double Chance Ivory Coast and Draw +125"? This is from the same book and I am confused why they are not the same price.

"-1/2, -1" means that you put half your money on Brazil -1 and half on Brazil -0.5. If Brazil wins by 1 Goal you push the -1 but cash the -0.5. If Brazil wins by 2 you cash both.

And yes, +0.5 and Double Chance is the same Prices are always different, don't know why.

Thanks for the info. Very useful. I still don't understand why a book would have different prices for what is the same bet in different words, blows my mind.

I also see these plus 1/4 and 3/4 stuff on SBRodds. What is going on with that?

+1/4 is the same as pk,+1/2, and +3/4 is +1/2,+1 , the quarter lines are just shorthand to show half the money is on th eth half-lines on each side iof the qaurter

            Confused By Soccer Spreads II

            Good Morning!
I am new to soccer .... Could you please expain the followig wagers?

            `~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

            Bet.Powa.Fr 24 - 13 (8 - 3)

            Slovakia - Paraguay (1X): 1.85 What is (1X): 1.85??
I know that 1.85 must be Asian or European odds??
            Clueless on the (1X).

            Italy - New Zealand (- 2.5): 2.55
New Zeeland to win by 2.5 goals @ 2.55 odds? Seems
            like a bad wager.

            Italy - New Zealand (X): 6.50
No clue on the (X): 6.5??

            Brazil - Ivory Coast (1): 1.80
Ivory Coast plus 1 goal @ 1.80 odds??

            Thank you.

X means DRAW. So if you bet 1X and Slovakia wins or draws, you WIN. 1.85 is decimal number(european) and it's -115 in American system.
