TD Canada Trust Clearing Code and Sort/Bank Code (re: Moneybookers Wire)
After having received several bank wires from Moneybookers to TD Canada Trust using only the SWIFT Code, Moneybookers is now saying that I need to provide them with the "Clearing Code" (3 digits) and the "Sort/Bank Code" (5 digits) for TD Canada Trust.

Does anyone happen to know what they are ??? I contacted a telephone rep at TD Canada Trust, and he told me that "there is no such thing" for TD Canada Trust, and that the SWIFT Code should be all that I need (obviously, Moneybookers thinks differently).

I tried a wire from MB to CIBC today. Got the same box you must have asking for that info.

In the middle box, I input "010" which is the bank # for CIBC. TD will be different, but also 3 digits.

In the right hand box, I input my 5 digit transit #. We'll see how it goes. I'll let you know if/when I receive the wire.

On this sample cheque - http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/lending/cheque.html - I think the 3 "Clearing Code" digit code you need to give is the Financial Institution Number, and the 5 Digit "Sort/Bank Code" the Transit Number. If you look at one of your own cheques, getting the right numbers should be easy enough.

TD three digit code is 004. Five digit code as mentioned is the transit number. This varies by branch. Easy to obtain however.
