Hello i registered Bet365 account about month ago,verified passport and post letter which entered in verification menu.I received email that my passport is verified and then i entered letter code it also said i verified my address.

After i deposited about 150EUR and placed bets on football.After two days i was unable to sing to my account,i thougth i lost my password but recover also did not worked.I signed into chat to ask why i cannot sign in and i was asked to send my PVC letter photo.I made photo and send to them.After that i received another letter that i need verify more.

I played a lot of bookmakers and nobody asked to send me holding passport photo,so it was so strange and i think it is not secure to do that,i verified letter and passport,and they want more from me?I started chat today about this and as i see there was no such information in BET365 that they can request such identification form from people.Also my friend has BET365 account and he is using it without problems he only verified passport and it was enough.Also my account was suspended in all time,so i was unable to place bets during all verification time.Why they do that if i am not verified something at least they must provide services and let people use theitr balance to place bets.

what is the big deal ? you have already sent them your passport image right ? it is annoying to have to go through more verification after what you have done but if you have a web cam then it is not a big deal to do this. takes 5 minutes.

Sounds similar to when you get an official ID document notarized in person. The notary has to see the person and verify that the ID is them. Sounds ridiculous that you have to do this for a sportsbook though.

i don't think this procedure is legal...if you don't want to do it just close your account, they'll send your money back (and winnings), at least Bet365 is not stealing from customers...and they do have strange KYC, maybe you missed their verification call?? sometimes they also call to verify details.

Dont worry about my 4 digit number,it i have changed after post long time ago.Yes i think that it is illeagal procedure,i can send such type of foto they want,but if it not leagal i not want risk,there is other bookmakers i can use without such strange verification.I used deposit via moneybookers,becouse its cheapest and fastest way to deposit/get funds it takes max up to 24 hours frequently to get funds from bookmakers and i can withdraw them at ATM or spend at whatever i want.I will talk with them later and if they will tell me to send such verification i think i request to close my account and withdraw funds i had.I registered at bet365 becouse it has higher odds that another bookmaker i used.

We finally need a copy of the bank reporting on financial transactions with our company.

the big deal is that this 'new' verification requirements are NOT stipulated in terms and conditions of bet365!
If i know in advance that a bookie will require pictures of me in front of my house/holding ID or my dental record, I wouldn't open an account there, not to mention winning some bets and being forced to comply with the photo-shoot to get my money.
