    Heritage drops poker
Got an email today stating they're dropping the poker room from the site.

Typical boiler plate BS about 'listening carefully to the needs of players, blah blah'.

Wonder if anyone knows actually why?

Last year when they announced they would be adding a poker product I was very optimistic, as an intergrated sports and poker site is very attractive, and BOL is one of the few who do it.

Sportsbook.ag has something, but they can keep their 2 month payout time.

Anyone like another US friendly site that does both, with the benifit of instant transfers between the two products?

Bovada should have what you're looking for. I think there's a solid number, just not sure how many have active clientele playing poker.

probably because not a lot of people used it
I saw maybe 2 topics about it since it launched.

always looked like a wasteland when I logged in a few times

I recall being highly disappointed when they launched.
I forgot the network, (I think True), and after all the hype that was the last network I wanted them on.

Maybe they realized it just wasn't worth the headaches, and learned from BOL.

I remember talking to Wally from TheGreek a while ago, and he was not happy they offered poker, but as he put it, a necessary evil to keep players on the site.

Unfortunately it seems like this is fast food. KFC does chicken right. Macdonalds does burgers.

My guess is the best intergration of poker and sports betting will come from an established poker site that adds sports betting, not the other way around.
