How safe is SIA (Sports Interaction)?
I am thinking about joining SIA. I have been watching their lines for awhile. It seems like they have opiniated lines, which will come in handy sometimes. I see D+ in the SBR rating, but also see posts from respected members that they have been paid fine. I plan on doing simple straight bets, nothing exotic there. How safe is this book? BBD, how many outstanding complaints do they have? Thank you for your help.

SportsInteraction does have quite a few complaints levied against them, not to mention that they do have a reputation of booting winning players. However from a safety of funds standpoint they are a pretty solid book IMO. So if you are a recreation player I wouldn't think you would have many issues at all accept for maybe them asking you to jump through hoops in the form of paperwork when you go to make a withdraw.

I need to go under the radar long enough to meet the rollover requirement at least. A good question would be how to appear as a recreational player? If I keep my winnings under a certain number per month, would that help? And by the law of probability, it is likely that there will be losing months in between withdrawals.

Your timing is not the greatest. Their best (strangest) lines come out early in the NFL season. However it is not a bad idea to get in now.

I have never had a problem with payouts. Years ago, I used Neteller and for the last couple years it has been Moneybookers.

They are one of the easiest book in existence to meet rollovers.

From what I have been able to gather over the years, they simply collar people based on winning. They don't analyze what anyone is doing; if someone gets into a large positive situation, the limits go down. Often they will start by cutting players to 25%. I have heard of 10%.

Even at 25%, they would still be useful. (That would mean a $550 limit on NFL spreads).

Personally, I use them in the most selective possible way. I focus on certain arb/middles where my research shows the sides I will be taking at SIA are most likely to loose. That has worked for me for quite awhile and I seem to pick up a couple of $2000+ middles there every NFL season.

SIA is also the undisputed champion in what I can only call "Document submission problems". Not sure if this is the case still, so I don't want to unneccesarily bad mouth them, but some of their excuses come payout request time were absolutlely hilarious....."Your faxed I.D. is too dark" was easily the Gold Medal winner, though "too blurry" and "too light" were also challengers for the top spot.

Amazing that literally dozens of other sites had no problem with the same ID documents.....

Does SIA offer reload bonus? I don't see it on their main page. Thanks.

Interesting question. They offer them selectively. I talk to a number of players and one of them who has had his limits cut down to 10% has received a few special offers in December while other players who have regular limits didn't receive them.

Don't know what's up with that.

Other than that they have a "Happy Hour" reload special once a year around the start of NFL. It is open to everyone and has traditionally been a 20% cash bonus. I think there was a $200 limit this year.

did they raise there limits mud? I believe last year the limit on a football spread was 1,100 and I was limited to 110. Totals were 440 and I was limited to 44. If I can get a $200 bet in it would be worth going back there.

I've got $2200 on NFL spreads, $1100 on ML's and $880 on totals.

A quick look at my 2007 spreadsheet shows some wagers of that size so it's not particularly new. Maybe I have done so well at losing there they have me pegged as a whale and gave me special limits.

(Not sure if I'm joking or not when I say that).

SIA has some crazy soft lines on soccer but terrible limits. Still, a very worthy out. They'll collar you or cut you off completely around $10,000 in winnings.
