Hi all,
I've been using this bookie since I starting betting in October, and so far I have had a highly positive experience with them. Payouts are reasonably fast (usually same day via moneybookers) and had no problems getting my bonus after emailing a very helpful customer services. Most importantly I am yet to have any sorts of limits imposed, despite exclusively exploiting their weak lines (of which they have many!), although what this says about the long term survival of the site is slightly worrying!
Of course there are a few problems. Most notably any bets of any reasonable size are referred to a trader (most I've managed to get away with without being referred was approx £40). Annoyingly I can't find any way of seeing what the max bet without referral is, and it varies heavily from market to market. HOWEVER, in my experience their is quite a large chance of the trader clearing bets even when the odds are ludicrous! Also on their more obscure markets, they impose a minimum of 2-4 markets to be bet on simultaneously inside of the same category, possibly in a multiple. Normally this is not too much of a problem as they have plenty of weak lines inside of any given category, but occasionally the min required is more than the number of markets in the category!
All in all I would defo recommend this bookie, especially as their £50 bonus is reasonable (although with heavy rollover requirements).

Very low quality book. Have had some payouts but often takes days due to "technical issues" have also had withdrawls returned to my sports account for no reason. I have had a couple of quick withdrawls with them also.
The worst thing is actually getting a bet down. You go to take a soccer team at 1.75 and it comes back and says bet accepted but altered and they are offering you them at 1.40!! Give me a break. Thats like a loaf of bread at Walmart costing $1 but when you get to the check out suddenly is costs $5. I sometimes wonder why these bookies even bother being in business.Comment -

Agree with Mr Grizzlies about changing the odds though the example he quotes seems extreme. I found if you bet when they are busy (just before kick off for a big soccer league) then they just accept your bet rather than re-offering at lower odds.Comment -

As far as I know Meridianbet, like some other bookies, is looking for suckers, and the good way to atract them is to show a bonus, good one.
From what I read before and learned elsewhere (unfortunantly I never became a sucker client) this company works with the "bet-slippery" concept: instead of you having a normal "bet-slip", you trade on slippery prices, you never know what you will be getting, but mostly (99.5%) is worst than you could expect.
