I used to play some in Bodog's pokerroom (and made a occasional sports bet and even [gasp] gave them a little casino action) but quit playing there when their payment processing became a mess last summer... Anyhow, I've been reading about how their payouts issues are improving and been thinking about giving them another try... I got these email yesterday, which looked like a decent small account specific bonus, and thought it would be a good excuse to try them out again...
<< Deposit $400 or more BEFORE Friday, January 30th and you'll get the following bonuses:
So to find out the full conditions I sent this email to sports@bodoglife.com (whom the orginal email was signed from)
<< I received your superbowl offer last night and, from reading the details of the offer, it appears that the only rollover requirements are to play the casino chips 20x... So in other words the only requirements are just to put in 800 dollars of action in
your casino correct? Would I need to still do this rollover even if I lost the 40 in casino chips? Can you also tell me what games are excluded from this play?>>
To which I receive this reply
<<In response to your inquiry, please be advised, as there is a 20 X rollover on the Casino chips the rollover on the Sports Bonus is Three times. Please note, if the funds are lost then there would be no Rollover. Also note, we ask that you contact our Casino Department so that a representative may assist you with any casino Inquires you may have.>>
I so I send this two emails to sports@bodoglife.com and casino@bodoglife.com, respectively... (I assuming the second is a valid support email... I can't find valid support emails on their website just a fill in support form)
<<So the rollover on the sports bonus is three times the bonus (ie $120 playthrough) and not the bonus and deposit amount, correct? And the action required for this rollover is any sports betting action or do I have to give the action exclusively in the Bodog Live section of the sportbook? Also (since the requirements seem rather complicated) can I assume that there is no rollover on the poker tournament credits?>>
<< I received the bonus offer below and was told by a sportsbook representative to contact the casino department to verify the conditions for the casino bonus... Is the 20x rollover in the casino just on the casino chips or on the entire deposit? If I lose the $40 in casino chips do I still have to complete the rollover? And can you advise me on what games are excluded from the rollover?>>
I then received this email from the sportsbook department (and haven't received any response yet from the casino department)
<<In response to your inquiry, please be advised all bonuses offered come with a rollover requirement. Please note, the rollover amount is the bonus offered plus the amount deposited. Please note, Live credits are issued to your Freebet balance which carry no rollover as these can only be used in the Bodog Live Software and you receive the winning amount of these wagers without the risk amount. Please note, if you require any more assistance with Poker rollovers we ask that you contact our Poker Department so that a representative may assist you.>>
After all these emails I have no clue what the details of the offer is exactly for any part of the bonus and still have AT LEAST two more emails to type (sports and poker department) and haven't even gotten to the point of trying to figure out how I would get money on the site as I haven't played there in at least six months... Needless to say at this point I'm done with trying to solve the mystery of what the true term and conditions of the offer are and I will continue playing elsewhere for awhile...
My question is what the hell happened to the bonuses that were deposit x dollars and rollover the bonus and/or deposit amount x times? I why the hell do I need to send multiply emails to three different departments to find out conditions to a single offer?
