PulseBet, SynBet remain off-line with players' funds
A PulseBet (SBR rating F) victim writes in. The player tells SBR that he was scammed out of $2,000; after building his bankroll up, the player took a break from wagering only to return to find the sportsbook off-line. On 17 November 2011, SBR reported that both PulseBet and sister sportsbook SynBet (SBR rating F) remained online, despite a public admission of insolvency. Both websites went off-line shortly thereafter. Many of the scam shops customers were users from TheRXforum. TheRX introduced the previously unheard of sportsbooks on 16 August 2011, advertising SynBet as a platinum sponsor.
Players are owed a minimum of $21,000, according to sportsbook complaints filed by users of PulseBet and Synbet.
