#143So because they incorrectly increased betislands rating they shouldn't correctly downgrade 1vice to level of the group paying their debts? How does that make sense?Comment -
#144Did you take a nap Buffalo that was a pretty late responseComment -
#145No naps. I sleep late every day. Exercise.
Seriously, AOrtega just let this thing die if you want to help 1Vice. It needs to go away. Posting in these threads defeats the purpose for you. Lay low until it is time to announce the football bonus. Things should have been settled down by then and you can talk about how much confidence you have.Comment -
#146BN - this guy is an idiot if he thinks you have to have an account to have a meaningful opinion on this. When something like this happens it's a black-eye on the entire offshore industry which means it effects those of you aren't directly affected financially.Comment -
#147AOrtega and I are old friends. He has found true love. He will fight for it to the end. He does not mind being wrong 100% of the time. He does not care about the humiliation. He will always be there for 1Vice. He just wants to make sure he gets to announce the football bonus.Comment -
#148If anyone is having issues, just ask for Tommy

#149if nothing has really changed at 1Vice in terms of ownership, then it's completely WRONG for them to attach a 10X rollover to existing balances whose rollover have already been completed, just on account that they switched to a different platform supposedly. it's no different than a bank deciding one day that your balance will be reduced by 50% simply because they decided to switch to a new banking system. it's absurd and blatant theft. if 1Vice wants to protect their brand and image, they need to just make the transition as seamless as possible and honor all balances and rollovers (or lack there of) and pay out accordingly. only then will it be feasible for them to continue to stay in business and attract new players and remain a viable entity in the industry. otherwise, without trust and transparency, this whole deal will no doubt end badly for all parties. 1Vice is in control of their own destiny, but they need to do the RIGHT THING. Pay out balances where rollover is already completed, and remove the ridiculous 10X additional rollover to players existing balances. How can they possibly think its fair for example, if a player originally deposited 500 and ran their balance up to maybe 4000, after completing 10000 in rollover...only to be asked now to rollover as additional 10X on 4000, or additional 40000???? Its completely UNFAIR! that's a total of 50000 in rollover on their initial deposit of 500...or 100X in rollover of the original deposit!Comment -
#150It is unfair no doubt but without it there would be a run on funds that would make failure a 100% certainty.
The only way to weather the storm is to institute a rollover. Otherwise you just have hundreds of people asking for money they don't have, which results in hundreds of no pay complaints, which makes the demise even more inevitable than it already appears.Comment -
#151People are not keeping score very well. In fairness, fact is 1Vice is paying out most people without rollovers. They have only applied rollovers to people that RDG supposedly did not accept/1Vice kicked out. Those people have a rollover requirement which can obviously be addressed with a payout plan. Those people are not complaining though so apparently are feeling they are being treated fairly. That is their battle to fight. For most 1Vice customers the rollover is not an issue.Comment -
#152buffalo...i think you have it mixed up. it appears that if 1vice/rdg accepts you as a player then they do so with with a 10x rollover attached to your existing balance. but if they don't want you as a player bc you don't fit their business model then they simply try to pay u off slowly. kinda seems backwards if u ask meComment -

There was a group of customers that 1Vice did not want because they are up too much or were considered sharp. Those people got rollovers because RDG supposedly did not accept them. So they have to rollover 10x.Comment -
#154buffalo...don't know where you're getting your info, but i know of one case in which player with low 4 figure balance with no rollover and 1vice accepted their account but attached 10X rollover.
maybe others can chime in with their experience, so we can get a clearer picture of exactly whats going on here.Comment -

Basically they did an account "audit." They separated the "sharp"s from the squares and gave the squares no rollover. That is my understanding.
If someone has gotten a rollover without being a fairly big winner that would be significant.Comment -
#156here is my deal
I sent them $1,000 and got 2 NBA teams for their promo in mid-december I was up $14,000 and that's when they cut me off and stopped their promo soon afterwards for everybody. I had asked for a $3,000 payout in early December and got paid that so my balance is now about $11,000.almost all that money was made on their promo. I was one of the people who got the 10 time rollover requirement so that means I would have to bet 110,000 before getting a payout. still this is way better than getting stiffed or ignored or having the phones go dead. this guy Griffin has been in touch with me from the get go and we have talked and he has explained to me exactly what's going on. he obviously realizes he made a big mistake on the NBA promo and he is just trying to make good on it now. I'm pretty sure he lost a ton of money because there was absolutely no way anybody could lose with that promo.
he sent me $500 good faith money last week and today we came to an agreement that I would be paid $1,000 a month on the 15th of every month until the Balance is paid off. is this an ideal situation? absolutely not! but it's a million times better then a lot of these things turn out to be. I was one of the early casualties when Lenny of betcascade was robbing everybody blind . that only cost me $3,000 but it just pissed me off so much because he kept lying and lying and lying and never had any intention of paying anyone off and when I finally realized that it just pissed me off beyond no end and I was so tempted to fly down there just to kick his ass because it wasn't $3,000 that pissed me off so much ,it was just the total bullshit he gave me for the seven months when he just lied and lied. Thank god i was 47 years old and not 20 or 25 because i would have made the dumb ass desicion to go there. I hope somebody kicked his ass because he was a piece of shit and a straight out thief.
I don't know Griffin from Adam except for the conversations that we've had and really the first time I talked to him on the phone was today. I am very impressed with the way he is handled things and the honesty I think I heard coming from him. he is not happy about how things have gone on and he is very sorry for putting me and probably a lot of you,as well as himself,in this position. besides being impressed with him I am also very grateful and thankful that he's still here and willing to work something out with the people he owes money to. he made a mistake on his promotion and he's not hiding from it or disappearing, he is facing it head on in the best way he can, in my opinion. I mean truthfully how easy would it be for somebody to just disappear after something like this is happened to them and leave everybody high and dry.
I initially was going to do the 10 time roll over and last week in 3 days I bet $6,500 in basketball action and round up losing $1,000 back to him. since I don't follow basketball at all I was just throwing Bets in and right and left just hoping I was going to break even. I figured I could easily get this rollover done within a month to 6 weeks but truthfully it would be like flipping a coin for me in the bets I would be making, so when he was willing to pay 1000 bucks of month and I didn't have to go crazy betting a million games it was the best thing to do for me, and i appreciate him giving me that option.
I think that Griffin is a straight up guy(and of course i certainly hope so) but only time will tell. It looks and feels to me that he is trying to make things right, whitch honestly is happilly surprising to me based on what you usually might expect it to go. i will keep everyone informed of my sitution and my payouts if their interested.
this is just my situation and i dont know everybody elses story. But again ,in MY OPINION, i am pretty lucky to have a guy like Griffin on the other end of the phone. And no i wasnt lucky to be put in this situation by him in the first place, but i am here now, and it could be a million times worse.Comment -

#158That seems about right. There is an absence of 1Vice customers complaining which means things are getting worked out because they are never shy on panic threads and putting them on the clock. Everything at 1Vice is negotiable and Griffin seems to be dealing on a case-by-case basis and people seem to think it is fair. If a 1Vice customer does not like their situation, best to talk to the man and see if something can be worked out. It probably will be. He rarely parts ways on bad terms..Comment -
#159I'll post the same thing in here.. There has been way too much negativity regarding this book over the last few months.. I just received another 3k from them yesterday. That totals 8k since the new year. Hopefully all of the uninformed negative posts do not scare away potential customers from a great book.Comment -

#162You had 40K at 1Vice??? No wonder you want people to think it is a great book and deposit. Maybe when all the Vice fans stop running for the exits as fast as they can, people will feel like they can deposit at this great book. Until then, they will struggle to get a $500 deposit while all the 1Vice fans pull out thousands.Comment -
#163I've been with this book for years. Cashed out and took a break for a year, and then made another large deposit last year. They have never given me any reason to doubt. Until that happens, they are an A in my bookComment -
