I'm a little worried about my Sportsinteraction.com account. Any ideas?
So about a year ago I first started depositing on my Sports Interaction account. Back then I could use my CC. I deposited quite a few times though when I would win I would keep going and eventually lose my winnings + deposits. Well the other day after about a year I had been drinking and decided to bet on some games. I deposited via estern nion $100. I bet a couple games and ended up breaking even then bet another couple games and was down to $50 (lol). So I figured **** it and did 2 parlays for $25 a piece. One 5 game parlay and one 2 game parlay. I never figured I'd actually win anything.

The 2 game parlay hit first and so I did another 2 game parlay and a single bet. Well all my parlays/ bets hit and I was up to $950 by that night. Figuring I'd never get that lucky again I decided to cash out for my first time ever yesterday morning for $800 by priority mail check. I left the rest in to play more with. When I just went to login about 30 minutes ago it said my account was frozen for security reasons and to call them. I called and the customer service huy went and checked with security. He said there was an issue and they would send me an email tomorrow, as they were going to be leaving in 3 minutes, with what was going on and my account would be frozen until whatever is going on is taken care of.

Do you think Sports Interaction will try to pull any shady stuff or what do you think is going on? Thanks

I wouldn't be worried yet. Once you get the e-mail hopefully everything will be straightened out. If it isn't fill in an SBR Complaint form.

Did you ever send in your documents? I had to send a copy of my license, a bill with my address, and the cc i used to deposit with most of the digits blacked out. Have had problems with them before including right now but every time have been paid.

Hi thanks everybody. They sent me an email this morning with this:

          Hi John,
Our system has identified that there have been multiple Sports Interaction accounts opened from your household or computer environment. This is a violation of our Terms & Conditions and as a result your account has been temporarily disabled.

In order to resolve this issue, we kindly request that you become a registered member of Sports Interaction by sending the following documents as scanned copies, attach them to this email and send them to security@sportsinteraction.com.
You may also go to www.sportsinteraction.com and click on the Contact tab where you can upload and email us your documents
          Please send the following:
          - A copy of your credit/DC statement with your name and address as they appear in your Sports Interaction account and dated not older than 3 months.
If you bank online and do not receive paper statements, please send a copy of your online statement along with an alternate proof of address. The following are examples of a proof of address document: bank or CC statement, a utility or tax bill, etc.
Please make sure that your name, address and the date are clearly visible.
          - A valid photo ID (Passport, Driver's license or Identity card). Your name, date of birth and the expiry date must be clearly visible.

Kind of weird as this is the only account I've ever had with them. I really have no need for multiple accounts as I rarely ever bet and this time was on a whim after about a year since the last time. I've had the same account the whole time and chat it up with their chatroom known by some of the regulars there. If by computer environment they mean my internet provider area, I run on a dynamic IP address with a secure wireless router but suppose people in the same area could be construed as computer environment. Add to that the fact I get on through my cell phone when at work using their mobile app and thats even more added to the "computer environment". As soon as I got home from work I scanned and faxxed all of the requested documentation. When I called to inquire as to when my account would be unfrozen the CS checked with the security team and I was told it would be reviewed and I would receive an email but it could take up to 5 days as its reviewed in the order received. Would be kind of disappointing to have to wait that long. I understand caution and protecting themselves from fraudulent activity, but I've deposited quite a bit (by my standard of how much I spend on entertainment and the amount I've won is probably just breaking even, maybe) and have always lost with no complaints. Just sucks that when I finally win all of a sudden they find this multiple account business and freeze my account for who knows how long. I'd hate to miss out on the weekend games as my unwithdrawn money is still on there to play with. Thanks

They make everyone send doc's to withdrawal at least they used to. Should take a few days although I would continuing to pursue it may help speed up the process. I found a glitch in there live betting system if you want to pm me after this all hopefully gets resolved.

I say some monkey business is involved on your end. Personally I don't like the way you stated your case with some of the words you used. Trying to seem like a wayward gambler.

Monkey business? Wayward gambler? I told the situation exactly like it happened. I haven't deposited on there in like a year. Last time I was betting on there was when Cam Newton was playing with Auburn against Oregon. I went and had some drinks last Friday and was about to go to Buffalo Wild Wings for more drinks and to watch some basketball and decided on a whim to deposit some money to make the game more interesting. I was pretty much break even until Sunday when I was down to $50 and did the 2 parlays as I described in my OP.

Dude, you don't even know me to be passing judgement on such a ridiculous excuse like that. We're not talking big funds here into the thousands of dollars. If I was up to shady stuff and fraudulent activity I think that would be more worth someones while. How about giving some solid reasoning instead of a retarded gut feeling you have that stems from nothing.

This is most likely the case. They had an issue with me, lowered my limits from 1100 to 110, then kicked me a week later. They did pay me completely so I wouldn't be worried. Back then SBR had them at like a C.

What is their reasoning though? Their excuse is somewhat assinine. There haven't been multiple accounts and this is the same account I've had and lost on previously. They never had any problems then. All of a sudden I win some money and they happen to do a routine/ random security check that supposedly finds this reasoning they gave? That's bs. If they want me to send in verification documents that's one thing, but suspending my account until they get around to reviewing it so that I can't even play more games is dumb. From what others have said it seems to be a relativly common thing. Seems like some catch all they do to anyone who wants to cash out any money as there can be any amount of people in your "computer environment" for anyone using a dynamic IP, which is most people.

I read around on other people's threads of why people use multiple accounts to get around betting limits, I don't think that's an issue with someone who only deposits $100 onto their account. The email seemed like more of a canned response they send frequently. They say they want me to send the documentation (which I did) to become a registered use (which I thought I already was), but why was this not done when I was depositing. It was all fine and dandy then when I would deposit and lose, but win a little and low and behold a random security check that happens to be routinely done catches multiple accounts within my "computer environment". Now I have to sit and wait for them to get around to reviewing. One more thing, why was that email not sent when they froze my account? Why did they wait until I log in after I get home from work and find this out and then tell me the security team will send me an email the next day because they are leaving in 4 minutes to go home?

                          brainfreeze0,

SIA contacted SBR about your issue. I reviewed their evidence. You opened a second account while playing with the first account. They are closing both accounts, and paying you your full balance once you get through their identity checks.

A book can close an account for any or no reason at all, as long as they pay the player his balance. I think in your case, SIA is trying to be proactive to prevent multi-accounting. If actually multi-accounted, or look like someone who might, they do not want to deal with it. They just close it down, pay the player, and continue business.

Oh yeah I opened a second account while playing with the first one for absolutely no reason with no deposits made or bets placed. Makes no sense whatsoever. I barely play on the ONLY account I have. What purpose is there for me to open a second account? Absolutely ridiculous. Seems more like they are trying to save face on a sportsbook forum with high exposure. Because of course a sportbook would never lie. Its always us pesky small time scammers.

Same stupid multi-accounting suspicion surrounded me too, i also used rarely SIA, the bets i placed were relatively small, no limits on my account, no bonus so why in the world i'd open another account!?! absolutely idiots there!!!
Nothing special about SIA, i don't even mind but they were ridiculous.
They do seem to mind winning customers!

Dude I don't even care if they want to close my account as long as they pay the $800 check I cashed out just prior to their conveniently timed routine security check and the $95 I have left on my account. $895 total now. Ill gladly take my business to an A rated sportsbook.
