Just curious, some of you may not want to go into much detail but how did you do it? I moved to our nations capital and would prefer a local vs online. Any tips? There has to be something with how corrupt everyone is here.
As long as you know you can trust your local bookie, it's much better than dealing with big books like Bovada. Those books are safe of course, but too much hassle signing up and waiting for payouts. My guy comes by every week and we settle up.
how's this work? He just takes anyone on? That's scary..hit me up with info..thanks..
Most locals use a third party to operate a website for you to bet online on.
You are still only relying on your local contact to get paid though. Many horror stories of people being tricked into trusting due to having a website only to find out later the site operator and everyone else does not care at all if the local decides to just rip you off.
If you want a website to bet on be smart and use a real online bookie that will pay you for sure.

Are offshore book s safer than a local with a website?
Your best shot is if you have a friend who uses a local and can "vouch" for him paying up and collecting on time for that case. Stay with big names in offshore books.
