Edit by SBR: Bovada's records show that the bitcoin withdrawal was made from the same IP address as had last placed a wager. Even had the IP not matched, however, players are ultimately responsible for their account security.
I have been using Bovada for 10+ years. Never had any issues and always keep under $1k in the account. Last weekend had $800 in it and won $1600 on a few bets and a parlay. I log in today and see my balance is down to $250. Someone withdrew $2000 via bitcoin on Thursday. I have never used bitcoin ever. I never received any email notification of the withdrawal and they must have known my moms maiden name to complete the withdrawal.
Bovada is looking into it and will get back to me within 24 hours. But have had no issues with any of my other accounts online. Seems odd to win one weekend and then all of a sudden an unauthorized withdrawal hits the same week. Seems like an inside job to me. I'll see what they are willing to do. My guess is nothing.
