    Non-Starter Betway
    Hi there,

    Just signed up at Betway and placed a bet on Immobile to score (Lazio-Fiorentina). As he was a non starter in the starting line up my first thought was a void bet, but the bet is marked as lost. Is that the procedure at Betway? I have used more bookies before and with all of them a non starter will be void autimatically.

    Please advise.

    Sounds like it should be a void to me too.

    Betway rules;

    First/Last/Next Goalscorer:

    A price will be offered for “No Goalscorer” in the match. Own goals do not count and in the event of the first/next goal being an own goal, the next goalscorer will be deemed the first goalscorer. Players taking no part in the match will be void. For first/next goalscorer, players taking no part in the match before the first goal is scored will be void. Every effort is made to quote all players for a team, however, if the first/last/next goal is scored by a player not quoted in the original list, that player will still count as the winner. For last goalscorer bets, any player taking part in the match will be deemed a runner whether on the pitch at the time of the last goal or not.

    Anytime Goalscorer:

    This bet involves predicting whether a particular player or specific team will score a goal at any time during a match. Bets will stand until the final whistle and not include any Extra Time played. Own goals do not count. Multiple bets involving anytime scorers in the same match are accepted. For any time scorer bets, any player taking part in the match will be deemed a runner.

        Immobile came on in the 26th minute. Your bet stands and was graded correctly.

          Ok so have an answer from Betway: when a player makes a step in the field, even for 1 minute, the bet won't be void anymore. So beware when you place a bet on a goalscorer and he won't be in the starting line-up.

                Think of it this way: Would you be very pissed off if Immobile had come on in the 3rd minute and scored a goal, but they had voided your bet anyway? Each rule has 2 sides...

                  Agree, but in regular, the change of winning will be smaller if a player starts at substitute right? Anyway it's clear how they work now

                    Yes,but you dont know if he is starter or not. If rule say bets only stabd if players is in starting 11 then would be way you thinking. You must be new to online betting. Before placing bet read rules if you are uncertain.
