Big Problem with Nitrogen Sports and Poker

I agree that sounds a bit long to check out a poker player report. We all know how crazy/paronoid some people get when they lose at the tables.

They know who abuses their freerolls.

Optional- Many players get banned for playing in cash games and limping preflop and checking down the board. They have some VERY lucrative freerolls that players have their eyes on qualifying each week for as it gives an insane rakeback percentage back.

They have ones for players who play 1000 hands of either .10/.20mbtc, .25/.50mbtc, .50/1mbtc, and 2/4mbtc or higher cash games.

Many times they have only 5-6 runners in the 2/4mbtc freeroll which pays out almost $5,000 prizepool. If you qualify for the highest freeroll you also qualify for the three other freerolls on Sunday. You probably have a solid $2,000 in equity each week if you qualify for all of the freerolls.

Easy to see why they are so attractive and why players go to the flop and check it down to rack up hands.

I'd guess either OP did what I mentioned above or they had multiple accounts. I've made multiple accounts by accident. It's very easy to do on Nitrogen because instead of hitting log in if you hit the button literally right next to it that says create account you have made a new account with one click. They allow multiple accounts for those that bet on sports only. If you have multiple accounts and use both from your same IP for poker even if it's just once you have broken their terms.

If OP did either of those two things then he will not receive his money back. He may have done it unknowingly and if it's the second account and it wasn't clearly intentional he may stand a chance. If he abused the freerolls he can kiss his money goodbye though.

Nitrogen has had many collusion cases...I personally reported quite a few people for what i perceive as collusion ect and have a many long emails back and forth with CS about people that collude,,Some are hilariously so obvious..They have assured me that they are taking a deeper look into poker as integrity is very important top them....I only play at lower tables .1 down to .01 mostly with btc up in price.....if you are innocent Nitrogen is the Tops and has awesome security dept. I would not worry...if not I will look maybe I will be getting a mbtc gift as they do reimburse players that have been taken advantage of if i played u

I see guys all the time playing one on one either fixed or NL and as soon as someone sits they leave...Those guys for sure are playing to rack up hands for the free rolls....Is that considered a violation of terms? I would think they would just warn for that if that was case not Freeze account

It's against the terms absolutely. It's abusing their promotions and integrity of the game. We don't know exactly what they are reviewing for OP but since I brought this up to begin with it's a rampant problem in the games. Luckily, Nitro has done a great job policing it.

Thanks for the replies. To be clear I play on one account only and I do not collude or even know anybody to collude with and certainly wouldn't do it to enter a freeroll. I qualify for gold and play a number of hands every month towards platinum but haven't made it yet since not enough action at those stakes although if I did collude headsup to get hands I certainly could have easily made platinum.. My normal stake is .25/.50 with some higher and lower stakes on occasion- and I also want Nitrogen to check into collusion and anything else bad for the game. They told me a player reported me, but didn't say for what. No matter what it is, its been 12 days. Pretty unacceptable to freeze someones account for that length of time. If players report all winning players for collusion, maybe there will be only bad players left.

12 days without a explanation is unreasonable you are 100% correct...Send them a email and ask what you can do to get this resolved ASAP and see what they say....I have had my account frozen due to IP addresses that where new but they always cleared up in a mater of hours....People on Nirto are also paranoid of BOTS and people that use poker software...maybe that was what some player thought...I have guys that wont play me unless I chat them so they know i'm human LOL

This sounds very shady from Nitro. I do mostly sportsbetting on nitro with the occasional poker tournament. I did hear in chat they cancelled a bunch of withdrawals right after the superbowl. Not sure if that is relevant but no matter what has occured here 12 days is completely unreasonable. I would be a little skeptical of any site that cant get an answer in a couple days. I would think your money is safe but I suppose if you are trying to play poker daily then this is pretty bad situation.

Hakangl- You are a new poster so naturally I wanted to bring up the 2 most common reason they would freeze your account for such a long time for review.

Glad you cleared that up.

Ive played many times where people type in the chat something like "Type 5995 if you are not a bot" and they don't sit in until I do it. Not sure why people are so paranoid on Nitro. The games there are tremendous though so I don't complain.

I actually won the Diamond Challenge freeroll last weekend.

Hakangsl, about a month ago I was accused of colluding with someone, too. I didn't do it, I didn't even know the guy I was accused of colluding with. I know exactly who accused me of it though. I'm not sure of his name, but he was using a Pittsburgh Penguins avatar. If you're innocent, just tell them to check your poker history. They cleared me in about 24 hours or so.

I have asked them to tweak poker for long time with no results...i asked for more turbo cash games & mtt and more varieties of sit gos( ive never seen any fill) instead they add the emoji icon at table so now i think i have button every hand

It has been extremely frusturating, hopefully someone from SBR can get in contact with nitro or with me. I did file a formal complaint through SBR yesterday which will hopefully help. Still no word from Nitro, they haven't asked me a single thing in the 13 days they have been "investigating". I had thought Nitrogen was a safe room to bet and play at

I have been playing on nitro for over a year and personally havent had a problem yet but I am also not winning. No matter what triggered this for OP, two weeks is unreasonable, not transparent and bad for the site and anyone considering nitrogen as a book. Thats why these threads exist because you never know when things turn south. It was pretty widely spoken about in chat that Nitrogen got killed on the superbowl. Maybe its a money issue, maybe its a legitimate complaint. 2 weeks to look at a poker account is not reasonable by any stretch. I personally trust nitrogen but 2 weeks not knowing anything with no reason would make me crazy.

I love Nitrogen and am on there every day...This is just my thought...As long as BTC is steady or trends upward there is no need to worry...As long as they keep all customer deposits in a coldwallet no need to worry....Now remember Nitrogen made MILLIONS and Millions! off Bitcoin Cash and not crediting customers the coins (i'm not saying they should or should not of) So i personally think these complaints all have some merit to them as they are not in business of stealing players account funds..Lots of crypto crimes out there so lets have these investigations go there course and see end results before jumping to conclusions...that said taking more the 3 days with no explanation other then investigation going on is not reasonable and it should be documented on there official SBR Page..Have to be fair an balanced

i didnt know whats the real reason. They just cancelled my withdrawal. I won like 12streak times. Straight plays and Parlays.
