New player to the world of online gaming and recently signed up with MyBookie.ag. I put $125 in the account and with 2 decent size bets got it to $309.
First beef - the Juice. I paid 20% on Rams over Raiders (-6). If I bet the other side, the juice was 5%. Is this normal? My understanding is that standard juice is 10% no matter what side you take. If they want to charge you higher juice for a favorite, how about making the live -7 or higher?
Cashing out - They initially told me there were NO FEES for the first cashout. That ended up being a complete lie. If you want a payout in $$'s, the choices are $35 for a Wire Transfer or $50 for an eCheck. So I went with a Wire Transfer and paid the $35. This took an inexplicable 10 days to process.
This is where things get really shady. When the transfer was complete, MyBookie actually sent me $243 instead of $273 – exactly $30 LESS than what I requested and owed. When questioned, they demanded I send a screen shot of my bank account as proof which I promptly did. They got back to me via email conceding they made a mistake. Their solution – credit my account with $30! Don’t mind the fact that withdrawals on MyBookie.ag can’t be less than $100 AND the fact that the cheapest $$ withdrawal method costs $35. So, if I want the $30 I suppose I’ll have to send THEM $5? I emailed again and demanded they Wire the remaining funds. Radio silence.
I know these crooks are based overseas (Costa Rica?) but is there any recourse I can get if these folks don’t send me the remaining $30? Trade organization, governing body of some sort? I understand $30 is not a lot but what they are trying pull off is a joke.
