#352Brokerstorm. I am too new to say how safe as Ive only started the last 2 months to use them more. The site itself is OK but USA races have low liquidity like 9wickets did and sometimes market will not open. They do not offer Place pools too. But it does have LAY which is great. So Far the Brokerstorm team CS has been very good I will say. I do still like Odsy88 alot and trust them as much as I do AC88.Comment -

#355A new book called penta88 has recently been added to mollybet platform. Has anyone heard anything about this book? Do they void bets like singbet? I noticed their limits are pretty low compared to pin, isn and sing and it looks like they are not other books' clone and have their own odds.Comment -

#359their biggest problem for football gamblers is that they incredibly miss molly software. Every asian broker has, except themComment -

#361no usa though. for usa brokerstorm via whitehorse is only one that i know of that offers horse lays but they do have liquidity issues on USA tracks at times. Fairlay offers limited lays mostly on favorites only but the market maker for horses is horrible. As far as Orbitx or Pinny Odsy88 is my favorite agent best CS and fastest payoutsComment -
#362hello
can someone please explain ELI5 the new Betfair rules for tennis retirements as my english is not good enough and translation still does not let me understand it. Retirement after first set is clear. Thanks
ATP/WTA/Challenger/Grand Slam etc (non ITF/exhibition)
Retirement during first set: All match bets will be voided/all bets on next sets will be voided. Winning bets where outcome was known will be settled as winners. Selections that no longer could have been winners will be settled as losers.
Retirement after first set: Player/team progressing to next round is settled as the winner. However, the player's opponent is no longer a losing selection - you will get your stakes back. Bets where outcome was known will be settled as winners. While selections that no longer could have been winners will be settled as losers.Comment -

After set 1 the player who advances is paid as a winner and the retiring player is a refund.
That is the only difference..Comment -

if I understood you right means that for example player A vs Player B > I have a 100$ bet on Player A and player A retires in 3rd set > I get 100$ refund, is that correct?Comment -
#365
Those rules sound so good I am not surprised that you want to double check..Comment -
#366Hello,
This is a new rule ?
I have had many bets in past, graded as a loser because i bet on a player who retired after 1'st set...Comment -
#367
I had today a few bets in-play and in the 3rd set I had for example 200 to lose if player A wins and 100 to lose if player B wins
Player A retired! What should I get here in this situation? The 200, the 100 or both?
thanks againComment -

Actually if you are red on both players and one player retires, how will or should it be handled?Comment -
#371Depends with what bookmakers you had your bets with, it all comes down to bookmaker rules on the sport. What were the exact bets and with what bookmakers? Once you have that data present, you can consult the bookmaker rules on the retirement and see if everything has been settled correctly.Comment -

#373Well, take a look at Betfair rules then:
As said previously, let us know what were the EXACT bets so we can try and assist you.Comment -
#374Seems Orbit doesn't have this new rule :
- If a player or pairing retires or is disqualified in any match, the player or pairing progressing to the next round (or winning the tournament in the case of a final) will be deemed the winner. However if less than one set has been completed at the time of the retirement or disqualification then all bets relating to that individual match will be void.Comment -

Check the rules of the Exchange, they are the same as before.

This is only true on Betfair Sportsbook, this "new rule" is from 2018: https://betting.betfair.com/tennis/n...%20as%20losers.

Tennis
If a player or pairing retires or is disqualified in any match, the player or pairing progressing to the next round (or winning the tournament in the case of a final) will be deemed the winner. However if less than one set has been completed at the time of the retirement or disqualification then all bets relating to that individual match will be void.
All bets relating to the number of occurrences of certain events within a tournament will be void if the tournament is reduced in length, postponed or cancelled, except for those on markets which have been unconditionally determined.
All bets will stand regardless of changes to scheduled venues, including any changes to a different type of surface.
If the scheduled duration of a match is reduced or increased in the number of games/sets required to win, all bets will be void except for those on markets which have been unconditionally determined. Please note that this does not apply to ‘Match Odds’ or ‘Set Winner’ markets on Davis Cup matches or ‘dead rubber’ matches that have been shortened from five sets to three sets after the market has been loaded, provided that the match has been shortened in accordance with the competition’s rules.
Where markets are offered on individual games or sets within a match, a retirement or disqualification during a game or set will render bets on that game or set market and all individual game or set markets void except those on markets which have been unconditionally determined.
But easiest way is to look at the main site and look at the rules next to each market you want to bet..Comment -

An exchange cannot do that, as there is no party there to match the "extra" money required to pay winners if losers are refunded.
Here are the Sportsbook rules.

#384Yes they are. A sportsbook bets against you, so they are able to offer deals like money back on retirement and still pay a winner.
