#39How long did the TV station let Phil whine about getting his AA cracked by some "idiot" who played 9-3?
LOL And how many times did he call Dwan an idiot for playing 9 3?Comment -

#44Hellmuth has officially challenged Dwan to round 3! He will buy in for $200,000. It is unknown when they will play but is suspected to be around the WSOP start at the end of September.
Phil tweeted @ Tom Dwan, "I texted my boy @TomDwan
to let him know that I am officially challenging him to a match for $200,000 ($400,000 total) in “High Stakes Duel,” only on @PokerGo
App. Tom is a great great poker player, and he beat me last match. I’m sure next round will be a battle! #POSITIVITY"
Hellmuth losing and acting with grace, dignity, and respect! I am impressed. He has come a long way from calling Tom an internet guy that would probably not be around for more than ten years. Phil will be a force for years at this heads up thing! He is taking it very seriously and will be sharpened by this experience.
Here is the pokernews article covering it: https://www.pokernews.com/news/2021/09/phil-hellmuth-tom-dwan-rematch-39776.htm

#49This is ridiculous. I didn't see anywhere in the rules it was for anything more than just that one night/one match. They should grade this already.Comment -

#62Dwan backed out. Wonder if its ruled no action or a loss for DwanComment -
#63Good question. There seems to be some confusion about this. It's being reported that this is because Dwan was stuck overseas and Tom is saying on Twitter that he asked for a reschedule and did not withdraw. I guess we'll see.Comment -
#64It sounds like we are in limbo again...JFC
With Tom Dwan bowing out of his scheduled rematch with Phil Hellmuth on PokerGO’s High Stakes Duel, a new competitor has emerged in three-time WSOP bracelet winner and high-stakes pro Scott Seiver. Each player will be buying in for $400,000, with the winner taking home the entire $800,000. “This program has been a must-watch event each episode so far and I wanted an opportunity to be a part of the action and hopefully add my own mark on it,” Seiver said to PokerGO. He’ll have his work cut out for him against Hellmuth, who has been very successful in the heads-up format. Hellmuth started off by sweeping Antonio Esfandiari in three matches, before doing the same to Daniel Negreanu. He then beat Nick Wright, before Dwan stepped in and ended his winning streak. Hellmuth got revenge in the next match, however, setting up a third round between these two poker legends that first matched up all the way back in the 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. Unfortunately for poker fans, Dwan had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. ...Comment -
#65It should be graded one way or another. Dwan went 1-0. Whether they think thats considered a win or a no action is up to them. Dwan didn't back out, he was forced to be in Madrid for Triton series as he's an ambassador for them.
With WSOP quickly approaching I doubt they play again anytime soon.Comment -
