So SBR handles disputes now for their "Top Rated Books"?

It's only been 4 days "legal" in Connecticut and Draftkings has already screwed me over.

They offered me $5,000 in credits as a VIP member if I wagered $21,000 in their Blackjack if I do it before Friday at 11:59PM (tonight). I'm VIP from my previous play in DFS and also from my betting while I was in NJ and PA which was semi-regularly as I travel there for poker from time to time.

After I opt in and start wagering, they change the promotion to $500 in credits.

Quite the bait and switch tactic. I've reached out to Draftkings with no response so far. I will be contacting the gaming commission board as well to recover the additional $4,500 owed to me if Draftkings doesn't do the right thing.

I have proof of the $5,000 offer on my account. I have screenshots. When I completed the offer I was given $500 in credits. Which is why they owe me an additional $4,500.

sorry C , I have had nothing but trouble with USA books , i'm sticking now with offshore . MGM made me send over and over selfies and documents , points bet emailed me $250 for a $250 deposit then did not give it to me , draft kings and fan duel took a week to pay! Wynn never gave me my $1,000 free bet after I lost my first bet which was $1,000

The Complaint Form no longer exists. And it makes sense I think. Disputes are the jurisdiction of your local gaming commission now.

On my account right now, I have offers showing $1000 free for $10000 in Roulette wagered, $3000 in free bets for $30000 wagered among other smaller offers. $10 slots for $5, etc.

Am I supposed to believe these are wrong? If I opt in, are they going to say, it was supposed to be $100 in free play, not $1000?

If you enter a Casino and they have a banner up that says, $1 million given to players that earn points for this month in slots, you'd swipe your card, play the slots, earn points, and expect that you are eligible to win whatever the prizes. Do they get to say "Sorry, that banner wasn't supposed to say $1 million on it" and change the rules after? No. They don't.

Being a big player, these types of rewards are not uncommon. Fanduel is offering me $2500 in free credits on $5000 deposit and $1000 risk free for 24 hours in the casino.

Being that they just launched in CT, I had zero reason to expect any issues, or changes with the promotion. I was eligible for it, it was in my account, I opted in. Then they changed it for one reason or another. That's not my problem, or my fault.

if your state commission is similar to Illinois you have no worries as they are very much pro player advocate

Great to hear that they opened your account back up and gave you some of the money. Keep on trying and maybe you will get them to give you all they said they would give you! (Show them the proof of the $5000 credit promo.)

I'm like you, I've never been cheated by an offshore book, but if I had been, then there would be nothing I could do about it since I had sent my money to strangers overseas!
Remember, if you had sent your money to a bunch of strangers somewhere to an offshore book, and they cheated you, then you'd never see your money again and you'd have ZERO chance of getting your money back.

Chalk one up for the USA books.
They can't just blatantly cheat you and leave you with no recourse like an offshore book can.

I really don't understand the delay. They acknowledged that the offer was in my account. They simply just have not said if they will honor it or not yet. I have evidence. So I'm not too sure what they are still waiting for.

Meanwhile I've not played since this happened even though I have other offers in my account I'd try to use.

These offers seem very very good. But who's to say that they can't change these offers too after I start wagering.

I'm wanting to give these sites a chance like Draftkings and Fanduel but what a bad taste in my mouth right off the rip.

Logged in to Draftkings this morning and now all my VIP offers are gone. If you click on VIP at the top of the page it just says, if you are VIP at another book, email DKVIP@Draftkings.com to apply.

So I still have not been given the money I'm owed, and now I've lost my VIP status apparently. So if I opted in to those promotions I mentioned above such as the $1000 if I wager $10k on Roulette, I'd have started wagering towards the promotion and now it would have been gone.

Chushrrr - keep harping on gaming commission to make it right. Likely whomever you are dealing with is new to these types of disputes so don't lose hope. Be patient. I know its hard but let them do their job and get your $$ that you are owed. As long as you have copies of everything like you say you have you should get your offer. Sounds like your host or VIP might have added an extra 0 to your offer but they might have done that to the rollover also....who knows...if not let Opti handle it, it would be solved in less than an a day
