Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I do 80-90% of my betting in game, and on Sunday they decided to cut my limits for in game bets drastically. NFL went from $5000 to $250 on spreads, $100 on totals. All other sports $100 max now.
I intentionally try to avoid betting a stale line or anything, though I am usually comparing them to bookmaker odds before placing bets. They have a fairly short timer between placing my bet and acceptance, and I'd guess about 10-20% of the time I try to place in game bets they get rejected and they move line before letting me bet, which was fine. I wouldn't even care if they put me on a longer timer, as I only bet during timeouts, quarters, etc..
I was under the impression that BO took sharp action, but maybe in game wagering is different? My pre games limits seem to be the same as before. Customer service rep confirmed that someone did cut the limits just for my account. Was going to reach out to some of the BO guys on twitter to see why this happened, but just curious if it's a lost cause.
Also I have a sportsbetting account, but it's the exact same company right? So probably shouldn't try to circumvent their decision?
Thanks for any insights!
