I don't use them anymore but my friend says he got a message yesterday saying they merged with Coinbase wallet, whatever that means.

Bit Coin works OK. Until you need to talk to a living, breathing, human being. All I can get on the chats is fuking robots.

Yeah they merged with Coinbase. There is a 'migrate now' button in the app, I guess you click that and follow instructions to find your Bitcoin.

I quit using BRD a while back, and quit using Coinbase long ago, so doesn't really affect me,.

I realized I did still have a few cents in the BRD wallet in Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

Was really simple to find it again.

Open BRD wallet, on popup screen informing you of the merger, click the Migrate button, then download Coinbase Wallet (not the same as coinbase app), run it and click on 'already have a wallet' then copy your recovery phrase from BRD wallet into coinbase wallet.

They gave me a NFT gift for continuing to support BRD and after a few minutes to download wallet history, my $0.80 worth of BCH showed up. lol.

I switched to BlueWallet and was able to import my seed phrase from my BRD wallet.
